Thanks ladies, not been online much despite the fact that she sleeps so well, I've been feeling a little bit crappy for a couple of days. Mobility is still fine, although I overdid it a little yesterday, but I've been suffering from really awful diarrhoea and a disgusting sore throat. Midwife's back tomorrow so I'm going to ask to be tested for Strep A, which I was warned about in the hospital. She was here yesterday but I was feeling much better at that point so I said she didn't need to come in today!! I was ill again last night, and also the blues hit me a bit and I started crying when I was watching Jaws
Feeling slightly more human this morning, but just going to take it easy with things today, hubby's away at training all day so just some time for us ladies on our own. My boobs are killing me, so I think my milk is coming through and might take some time today to see if she wants to try breastfeeding again. Not going to force the issue but it would be nice if I could manage to let her try again.

I honestly can't believe how much I love the little critter, and dh is head over heels too, it makes me want to cry seeing them together!! He changed her nappy before leaving this morning and he was singing away to her. Melts my heart!!

Anyway, I'll get pics up soon, just haven't got round to it yet!! xx

Congratulations leesey - a lot of us ladies were getting worried - it seemed to take so long for you!

Glad to hear all went well and your little lady arrived safe and sound.

Massive congratulations.

Do not worry at all about breastfeeding, as you say you tried and it wasn't happening. Making sure Alyssa is well nourished and heakthy is the most important thing - my nephew is bottle fed and he is healthier than any other baby I know (not one cold in 16 months!!!)
