Agnus Castus help please

So today is cd 41 and still no sign of af.
I didn't see a positive opk this cycle so I'm starting to think that I didn't ov
I'm seriously worried about my cycles now, the 50 day cycle and now this which is heading that way too.
So I've been out and bought a pile of opks and am going to try AC when AF comes.
I've always said I wouldn't take it as I'm not really into stuff that messes with mother nature but I think I need to kick start my ovaries, my cycle has never been the same after mc in January
So -
1) what time of day do I take it?
2) what are the possible side effects?
3) I have lots of allergies (peanuts, penicillin etc) could this be a problem?
4) how many mg do I take daily?

I'm still a bit unsure if I want to take it but don't know what else to try x

I think it's 4 capsules daily with food? Could be wrong it was ages ago that I took it (to no avail for me, but you know that story). H&B sell it, cos its herbal hopefully your allergies won't be affected x

i've just started taking it and had no side effects yet (no AF either, grrr!). I got it from holland and barrett and its 2 x 400mg capsules twice a day, so 1600mg altogether. I think you can take less to begin with and build up though? If you ask behind the counter at h&b they are pretty knowledgeable about it. xxx

I was having probs after MC in feb too. Wasn't ov and cycle irregular although not as bad as yours. Took AC for 3 cycles from march to june. I took it as one 1600mg dose in the morning with my other vits. Didn't seem to get any side effects. I am intolerant to lots of things and have IBS but seemed to be fine with AC. My cycle is now 28-9 with a good strong OPK in the middle.

Not sure if this was just a natural return to normal or not though, I am generally a skeptic! However, I haven't read anything about it doing harm so would suggest give it a go? You can always stop it if it doesn't agree with you?

Hi cos. Iv been taking it for about 2 months now and although it's not done much for my cycles (currently on around CD90!!!) I'm hoping that over time it will make a difference and its done wonders for my skin!! I take it with starflower and it's been great. It certainly won't do you any harm to give it a go. X
