Oh gosh yes i was posting before too and i always thought it was 13 weeks for 2nd tri lol

It is, 13 weeks marks the start of the 14th week. so Christmas Eve should be when the first July mum moves over. HAPPY CHRISTMAS

There's a few different dates that Tri 2 starts, depending on whether you go by dividing the 40w into 3, baby's development, something else...

We're all moving over at 12+1. None of us are actually here yet, just got the thread going when I had the time to do it. We're moving over on just about the earliest Tri 2 date we can. Tri 1 has been hard for some people, we've lost some people... Gonna shake the Tri 1 off as soon as possible and get over here and get comfy.
It means we'll be in Tri 2 for looooooong, but there's lots of milestones to break it up, so, not too bad. Plus, Tri 2 is typically the "blooming" stage, an all that. Xx

Does it really matter when we decide to start moving over? Aren't we all here for the same reason to support and offer guidance!! I'm excited that we will be moving over soon!! Whether we're 12 weeks,13 weeks or 14 weeks!!x

My 20 week scan is the 19th Feb and also my due date was changed at my first scan to 3rd July so not sure if you need to move me? Thanks x

I've already took advantage of the deal at mothercare we got the silver cross 3d travel system I loved it when I had it with my dd and it was a bargin, if needed to we can always take it back. Fingers crossed all goes well

Where are you all storing your prams once you have them? Is it really bad luck to put them in your own house or is it just my family making that up lol? x

I have been told that too, will be keeping ours at my inlaws. I suppose its only bad luck if you believe in that kind of stuff! Xx

No.

No more bad luck than opening an umbrella indoors, or, having a black cat cross your path... Friday 13th...

I think the point there is that if something were to go wrong... Say you've been in hospital and got terrible news, then you come home, and walk in to a houseful of baby stuff.

I personally feel though, that by that logic you'd never even bring baby home.
Things happen.
Whether there's a pram at yours or your mums won't change that.

Yeah I don't really want my expensive brand new pram (whenever I get it) to be stored in my nosey in-laws house! Wouldn't trust them not to open it, can imagine them pushing the cats round the house in it haha! I want it stored here with me, don't know how it's any different putting all the nursery furniture up and keeping all baby clothes etc at home!? All my sisters have always kept it elsewhere so sure they will have something to say about it :-/

It's stored in our spare room, I'm not superstitious I mean my LO plays with an umbrella in the house I walk under ladders ect lol if anything were to happen it's just life I suppose
