Loving all the tips on things to buy. Thanks ladies.

Just told OH that today marks 100 days to go. His face was priceless :shock:

Ooo straws that's what I forgot to get
Makes it a lot easier to sip drinks while in labour
I loved having a straw in a bottle or cup oh was great kept giving me sips every so often
Ooo and lip salve too got a strawberry one today
Lips can get very dry with use of gas and air etc x

Thank you bonze :)
Possibly a little mini fan may come in handy ???? Especially as were expecting summer babies either that or a paper fan.
I was lucky when I had my DD there was a fan in the room and yes I needed the fan on in the middle of winter when I gave birth haha

Morning girls. Had the worst night to date last night :(
started with agonising BH through my exercise class which continued all night.went to bed ans was so uncomfortable! then woke to (tmi alert) some sort of leakage.....i didnf need to wee do couldnt have been that but god knows! :s anyway i got up changed and went back to bed and not had anymore. But at 3am in pain, emosh and tired i was convinced it was my waters!lol
xxxx

Poor Claire :(

It could still have been wee, if baby was laying on your bladder it may have oozed some out without you realising. Also, really watery discharge is common at this stage.

I hope you feel better this morning xx

Poor you Claire how you feeling now?
Braxton hicks are horrid I'm getting them several times a day now
Also on the leakage note get a little bit of that too ive got panty liners on daily now, think its just watery dischsrge tho
The joys of pregnancy hey

Really wanted to dtd with other half last night but so scared I'll cause a bleed like first pregnancy and have to be in hospital and have anti d it's just not worth the risk
Oh well never mind :(

Hope your all ok this morning xx

Afternoon Ladies,
Well I've been through all the baby clothes, bibs, socks etc. and it's safe to say this baby won't go bare anytime soon
I just need somewhere to put it all now (wish FIL would hurry up & make the furniture!)
Hope you are all having a fab start to the Easter weekend!
Xx

Boosh you sound very prepared hope you can pop them all into little ones draws and cupboards soon

I am really struggling with finding bedding for the cot
I don't want too much pink but there doesn't seem to be much choice out there
Tried mamas and papas, mothercare, babies r us, clair de lune, tesco
Any others anyone can recommend?
X

Do dunelm do baby ranges?? In not sure but I've always liked their choices for adult bedding!! I was going to get a baby bath today, but I'm just not sure what to get?? Sounds daft, but what's the best thing to get?? I've also bought a few other bits and pieces!! Dragged OH to mothercare and boots and then we went into oak furniture land and have chosen the table we want for the kitchen (when we eventually get our house!!) x

Thanks twinkle just had a look saw one nice one but have finally set my heart on one
Lollipop lane prickles and twoo it's very cute

Baby bath wise we borrowed a baby bath from my brother that they used for little one
But we didn't use it for long we got a small bath seat which they lay back in
It's what you feel more comfortable with and weather you will be bathing in big tub or separate baby bath
Sorry I'm not much help on that side Hun x

My sister had a bucket (one of those specialist ones!) I have got a baby bath from ikea £6! And a toweling baby bath support from mothercare £10. Sister then also have me a bright pink bath support which is think is about £30? If this is a boy he will be very girly!!

I have been decorating today! Nursery is a soft shade of grey and the wardrobes white...

All clothes washed and in little drawer organisers! Love love love this baby prep! My hubby said is it all going to stay in perfect order?! Love him! X

How are you all? Happy Good Friday! X

Evening everyone :)
How are we all doing ?
I had the most wonderful nights sleep must be off the stress of yesterday and the fasting hehe I went to sleep at 11:30 woke at 2am when OH came to bed then woke at 6:30 expecting DD to come into the room shortly after but no for once she slept past 8am whoooo (she never sleeps past 7-7:30 for mammy)

Happy DDD Loretta!

Oh dear, watched The Fault in Our Stars tonight. Emotional wreck now, haha. Really good film though but sooooo sad.

Hope you've all had a good day and you're feeling better Claire. All this baby prep talk is making it feel so much closer! Exciting :-) Gonna go shopping on Monday I think to get a few bits. Thanks for the shopping tips :-)

Glad the glucose test went well Angela and you got a good nights sleep :-) xxx

Thank you lola nervously awaiting the results on Tuesday I so hope the phone doesn't ring lol

Good luck for results Angela. Think I may be having the test in a couple of weeks.

Am the latest to be hit by the insomnia stick. BORED.

You're welcome Laura. Glad you found something though! Had a lovely baby day with OH yesterday. We did loads of stuff for baby. Had long conversations about the baby's names. Then we bought lots of bits and pieces, talked about decorating the nursery. His mums boyfriend has offered to paint a mural on the nursery wall, but I can't decide what to have or even where to look for inspiration-any ideas? I'm starting to worry that the baby's arrival is creeping up on me and I'm not ready. I've only got 3 more pay days!! Big items to get:
-cot (we've picked mamas and papas one, just not ordered yet)
-monitors (I've got no idea where to start/what we want)
-baby bath
-drawers for clothes
-Moses basket (not got from my mum yet, she's re-doing the fabric as it was the one I had when I was a baby)
And other small bits and pieces!!
I guess there isn't really a lot to pick up that I'd need immediately. I just keep looking at my list and it doesn't seem to get any smaller I just add extra bits onto it. I also think that once we get into the house and can start setting things up I'll feel much better. Anyone else panicking?xxx
