37 week scan and consultant today

Hiya,
Well I'm off to have another growth scan, doppler, consultant appointment and CTG again today, I'm not sure what to think, I am definately ready for the baby to come and hope they decide to induce me BUT the only reason they will induce is if LO hasn't grown enough and I really hope he has put weight on.

Anyway it was only a quick thread to let you know what's going on and I will update you all later if I'm not in hospital........if I do get told to go straight in then I will give my DH my log in details and get him to update this evening.

Just got back, apparently LO has grown just enough for me not to be induced he has put on about 13oz in 2 weeks, but that is according to the scan measurements, my bump hasn't got any bigger and during the scan when she was doing his abdominal circumference he did have a full bladder and had just been swallowing fluid so I think maybe his tummy was fuller than last time. So I am just calling my midwife to have a chat with her, if possible, about the results and let her know what happened.

As it stands at the moment I have to carry on going for my CTG's twice a week and am back for another scan at 39weeks, if I've not had him. xx

that's good if he has grown but like u say if he has a full tummy that cld be the weight gain, see what ur ,idwife says and keep us posted xx

just got off phone to midwife, she told me to book in with either her or one of the other community midwives this week to discuss my concerns, as she agreed that if his bladder and tummy were full due to him swallowing then it could've affected the results so to go and have a chat with one of the midwives, I now have an appointment with a MW on wednesday morning, but its not my MW and this one doesn't usually see patients from my surgery although Amanda (my MW) has said that she will leave information about my case with whoever I am going to see so that they fully understand my situation, will keep you posted xx

Well that's good news that he has not lost any weight tho, might still be best to leave him another week? when will they scan you again, and what is hisk total expected weight now, is it still tiny?

thanx jj mum, they scanning me again at 39 weeks, he is about 4lb13oz at the moment so will probably make about 6lbish if he keeps putting weight on, if he slows down again then he'll be about 5 1/2lb xx
