This amazes me...

I mean, I could literally time something cooking by her naps!!! She gets to 30 mins on the dot and wakes up...it's mad!

xx

Alyssa is the same lol, most naps are half an hour. i get a bit weirded out the odd times she sleeps for longer!

well...30 mins and she has just squeaked! its just flipping bizarre!!

Alyssa is now awake and grumpy from her jabs. 30 mins to the dot from when she went asleep in her pram lol

Tyler used to do that. Do you get her up straight away? (leaving Tyler never worked for me but some babies would go back off) I used to also feed him back off sometimes to show him he can sleep more and that worked but I dunno if it's coincidence and he just learnt

I leave her til she starts to shout for me but once she is awake, she is awake! Lol. There is no way she will go back off. Little madam :)

Kynon is the same, 2 30 min naps a day if Im lucky!

Babies have light sleep for the first 30 mins then they go into a deeper sleep, all babies wake after 30 mins but if they sleep for longer then they will drift off again. I normally hear a wimper at 30 mins but he just drifts off again. I find that if he gets worked up before a nap then he wakes up after 30 mins but if he is calm before his nap then he sleeps longer.
xxx

Emilia is started doing this again too its very rare she'll go any longer and it happens no matter how long she's been awake 1and a half hours or 2 hours only time she stays asleep longer is bedtime x

same here! i keep trying to get him to sleep longer but he just wont.

Same here except 40 strange!

it makes no difference whether she goes to sleep after quiet time, or play time, or whatever time...lol

its always 30 mins and she wont go back off.

oh well..she sleeps through at night, so i'm not going to rock the boat...she always wakes up smiley after 30 mins x

i find thet as long as Alyssa wakes up smiley shes had enough sleep, if she wakes up and cries then shes still tired and usually either goes back off with a bit of rocking in the pram or falls back asleep when i try to feed her.
