they're all fab bumps.... tankett is your belly button popping out? mine had gone the other way... it's a big round hole! we're all similar sizes and shapes... and we all look like it's going on the front only!!! lets hope it stays that way.... i don't mind a big bump as long as i don't have the big behind to go with it....

Hayley, I've always had a bit of an outy belly button, but it has now gone more or less flat!!

I've just noticed that my tattoo isn't very central either!!

Oh yes, and my belly looks really spotty but it's not!! They're freckles!!!

LOL!!! i actually rested a plate on my bump and ate my dinner of it the other night!! never thought being chunky would have it's uses ... saved me leaning forward or having a tray!!!

I really hope my belly button does not pop out too much as I now have 3 retainers in there where my rings used to be and they are gonna look very weird if all sitting on a mountain top!! x

Yep Keely I have.. when I lived in NY I went through a "phase" and i was not satisfied with just one piercing.. it looked lonely so I had the other 2 done straight after and I love it.. not at the moment cos the retainers really stick out through all my clothes but would be very sad to remove them completely..

I also had my nose done twice [on same side] and my eyebrow done too but when I left NY I let the eyebrow and one of my nose peircings close up... and yesterday as a mark of respect for my lost bean [would have been its due date yesterday] I took out 2 earrings that I have had in the top of my ear since I was 14.. feels bare but I will get used to it.. it was either that or shave my hair off and its too cold for that!!

Unlike Tankett and you I never had the guts to have a tattoo!!

haha all them piercings and no tattoos.... mind you I have always been to scared to get another one done as my TINY TAT really hurt haha.

Maybe I will get it done after the birth, then I will be used to PAIN!! xxx

funny because i'm scared of piercings but i have lots of tattoos...

my signature on my bum, a barcode (numbers are my date of birth) on the other cheek, apple with a bite taken out on my stomach (low down and really small - cute one!, a flower chain around my ankle with little petals hanging down my ankle bone, a circle of flowers on my hip, and a toe ring to match my ankle chain... think i've mentioned them all....

wondering how big the apple is going to go.... mightn't be too cute in a few weeks...

my belly button has always been an innie... a really dee innie... lately it's gone even deeper... the llittle middle ball bit is getting smaller! aren't belly buttons weird? or am i the only one who thinks this?

Hayley, you're not really supposed to wear metal in your piercings when you are pg, so you use a plastic retainer. Laura B has a business selling some fab ones, the links are in the tattoo and piercing bit on here. (Commission made payable to Tankett please Laura!! )

I had a retainer in my piercing too, but I took it out a couple of weeks ago. It was sticking through all of my clothes because my belly's sticking out, and I didn't like the look of it, so I took it out. Bit like my nipple ring, I only had it in for a week then caught a glance at myself in the mirror in a tight t-shirt, and immediately removed it. It was a very shallow piercing anyway and I could only put 6-8 mm bars in, not the standard 12mm, so I'll get it re-pierced afterwards. As long as I get my flat tummy back!!!!

Hayley, I also have more tattoos than this one. A pegasus on my left shoulder, a celtic swirly one on my lower back (it's quite big, but it just tickled!!), and my daughters name in arabic on the top of my right arm. My DH is covered. He has 9, but they are all really big so looks like he has more. He actually went and had his ninth last week, and it's great. Loads of Robbie'esk type black ones.

You guys are much braver than me then.. I really wanted to get a tattoo after my second miscarriage, I already had all my piercings but wanted something symbolic but I wimped out instead I shaved all my hair off and went skinhead for about 2 months as a gesture - not a very lasting one but everytime I looked in the mirror I remembered and as the pain got easier I let my hair grow...

Tankett.. yes my retainers are really showing through all my clothes.. not so bad with all the baggy jumpers I am still wearing for this bloody weather but t-shirts etc look a bit odd. maybe they are a size too big but I expect my tummy will stretch and stretch and stretch so maybe I will take them out too..

Tankett will you be getting another tattoo with this little bean's name somewhere on your body when he/she is born to match your daughters?

Yes, I will Anna Marie. I'm already thinking about what and where. I'm thinking some sort of chinese writing on the right lower tummy, but I'll have to wait to see if I can get it flat again first!!!
