I think growing around from the waist is girly and coming straight out at front is a boy

yeah i think they look about the same!! im already being called fatty and chubster!!!!

Ive definately developed muffin tops and a squidgy arse over the last couple of weeks or so!!!

Im having problems at the moment with the gender subject lol we agreed we wouldnt know and transfer to our new hospital for our 20w scan but i bloody forgot my new doc app yesterday to get transferred.. (they dont let u know sex there but old hospital do!!) so we kinda got used to the fact we couldnt anyway... but now we can.. tomorrow at 2pm... its gonna be bloody hard not to find out! tbh if it was a few weeks ago id probably cave but as we are pretty adamant we arent going to know i think we should be okay... i think...

lol!

tbh i thought i was having a boy as this pregnancy is 100% different to my girls... but the nub theory is pretty solid (which i hadnt bloody looked now!) and apparently our bubs has a 'perfect girly nub' I thought id be a tad upset with another girl but ive come to terms with the thought of it and i wouldnt mind another girls tbh plus my sister is having a boy end of august so i can still do the boy thing and buy boy clothes etc

I love the name Elyssa btw... its one of our faves.. only seen it spelt 'Alyssa' before but i think i actually prefer Elyssa now after seeing your signature!

Ill keep you updated as to whether by boy looking bump does turn out to be a boy - everyone else also thinks boy apart from my OH!

I will keep checking to see whether or not you cave tomorrow haha! good luck with the scan either way! x

oh and i are both very impatient lol im shocked in myself that ive managed not to take up my oh's mums offer of a gender scan at 16weeks lol!! i think it helped 100% that we knew we couldnt know anyway... but now im not sure lol!!!

Yeah, i had Alyssa first.. but then as a nickname Ally kinda put me off a tad.. (i read into names too much lol.. gotta b good for baby/adult/nicknames/mickey taking at school etc)
So went with Elyssa and called her Ellie as i love that name too but was too common for me..
We have honestly never callled her Elyssa though lol she only knew her name was actually Elyssa after she went to nursery at 3 and a half lol! I cant imagine calling her anything but Ellie now lol but at least she has a choice in her name when shes older. She likes calling herself Elyssa every now and then though its like her stage name haha!!

haha awww thats so cute, hope you dont mind if i steal it? i love Alyssa and OH wanted Ellie but as his last name is Pacey i didnt think Ellie Pacey sounded too good but oooh Elyssa is gorgeous!!!

I think the idea of not finding out is good, chosing both names, announcing it to the family etc but then i am the kinda person that has to have everything ready and prepared so that took over for me!!

We have a 4d scan on Friday and the 20 week scan on 11th july! (bit pointless having the 4d scan but OH is adament and this was my treat from him lol!)

Aww u should hold off the 4d scan til 30 weeks or something its great when they are bigger plus youll see bubba again after 20wks

Just be prepared for people mis-reading the name as aleesha, el-i-sha etc lol i dont see how hard it is to pronounce the name lol!
