I think it is head down lovely but it's been an age since I was at the midwife last so not 100%. My next appt is the 18th feb xxx

I bet they are, you can see how your bump is taller if that makes sense, where baby has grown longer, you wouldn't get that if baby was sideways. Oooh exciting

I sent my "best" friend a picture of my bump last night, she replied saying it was "an impressive beer belly!" That made me feel good!

Yeah I'm worried about that too. I think my bump is pretty big - my mum said "sorry hunni either you have a lot of fluid or that baby is massive! "

Then she started talking about elective ceasereans...

weighed myself and yes I've put on a bit of weight but it's in line with what my book says so I'm feeling better! Shall see what my midwife says on the 13th!!

I wouldnt worry about size, some carry baby within their frames other outwards and all in the "bump" area it really has nothing to do with size of baby alot of the time, people just have good ab strength haha!!

My friend had a 10lb baby with a neater bump than me! she was teeny!

I agree with button, I thought myson would only be 6lb something as I was small but he was 8lb 15 1/2 and ive known people with massive bumps have smaller babies my sister was big and has a 5lb baby, I wouldn't worry as if the midwives were concerned about your size om sure they would send you for a growth scan hun xxx

I think you are right about size too, I have just had a petit, slim friend who put very little weight on during the pregnancy (just the expected amount) and she has just had an 8lb 11oz baby xx

I've had two previous pregnancies and measured bang on with both, never bigger and I've had two 9lbers so size doesn't really mean anything xxx
