Hi all,
we have our family celebrations on Christmas eve and have never really done the whole christmas day thing before but now that we have Lily and because we won't be with dh on c'mas eve we are starting our own family tradition and doing it the english way.
trouble is I have no real idea of what i'm supposed to be cooking and on top of that i'm a bit worried about how i'm going to fit everything in as I have to travel to essex on christmas eve afternoon so won't have too much time to prepare things.
Can anyone please give me some ideas of menus and what I can make a couple of days before?
We are having a beef joint rather than turkey and I have the starters planned (stealing some food from Chritmas eve for this!)
Any help would be appreciated- I really don't want Christmas to be ruined because I'm useless!
