My MW told me off too as I picked up 2 hb's so she said unless i'm medically trained I don't know what I'm doing- and now I know I'm expecting twins so she can be quiet!

haha well she called me and said 'wow i'm so surprised' so i reminded her of the fact i had picked it up, she had forgotten that apparently! hmmm lol

Well Im sure if there was a real threat to it and if they are so dangerous why are they being sold? .. DUH haha. The angelsounds one esp is more aimed at those who arent medically trained as aposed to the MW rental ones - I understand if MW where maybe talking about the use of the equipment but if you know how to work it, what your looking for and know that you may not hear it everyday or it may be hard to find then its fine. I honestly dont see what the fuss is.

I got the domestic voilence speel aswell - I got this at my booking and my MW asked OH to wait outside haha I was like WTF then I realised why when she started asking the questions.

Just goes to show how different healthcare is throughout the country - My 16w appointment consisted of BP check and the doppler (got told that even if I wasn't happy?!?! baby was!) and then out the door again (but then my MW is crap!!).

I too had the domestic abuse questions. Which is fine, guess they have to raise the point. What I did laugh out loud at was when she asked me and my oh if we were blood related......eh no love! Haha! Again, for medical history gathering I guess it's a need but we just burst out laughing!

I had my booking appointment at 8 weeks at home. I'm a clean freak anyway so had made an extra effort to have the place ship shape for me and I got a telling off for the smell of bleach! Again I just laughed. Why would this be a bad thing! Lol xx

Yeah thats what most are thats why I thought theres so many to chose from but if I know where you got yours atleast Im not being bumped as you actually got yours lol!
