16 week Midwife appt today...

I've got an appointment this afternoon to see my widwife for my 16week check up...

Just wondering what to expect at this appt?

Normally the midwife will check your blood pressure, test your urine (so don't forget a sample), listen to baby's heart with the doppler and ask you how you're feeling.

Aww im so excited about hearing the heartbeat again

Sounds pretty straight foward then, I have been really worrying about this appt (why I don't know!!)

I'm sure you'll be fine. I've got to have my blood tests done at mine because she didn't do them at 12 weeks because I was nearer 13 byt the time I saw her!!

It will be great for you if she finds the heartbeat

Standard things, BP, urine dip, bloods if needed. Most of them are like that, apart from you don't have bloods taken very often.

Aww thanks - I know I'll be fine, im just panic about everything haha...

Im really hoping she doesn't have to take anymore blood, im guna have none left by the end of my pregnancy lol. They took what they needed when i was 9wks u know for downes, rubella ect so hopefully thats all for now!

Yeah I got to hear the heartbeat at my 12week and it was amazing so im really looking foward to that today!

i didnt have a 16week appointment... they told me that becuase i wasnt having the triple test (we had a private nuchal scan) that they wouldnt see us until after our next scan! So ill have had no input from ANYONE between one scan and the next... very strange i think as this is a very scary time to me.

same i saw my midewife at about 8 weeks, and im having my blood tests on friday with anotehr midwife appointment, i dno how its meant to go but i havent had much to worry about so far * touch wood * so had no reason to want to see midwife, but will be nice for her to tell me everythings hunkeydoreyyy
