haha i have this thinng i have started about a week and a half ago.. Everynight i must have a bath, just incase.. i go in to labour i wanna be clean.. plus every otherday i also have a shower and shave my legs and propa scrub scrub scrub.. you know.. just incase i go in to labour.. twice a week i do my best to trim my twink.. just incase.. haha
OH started to wonder what was up with this routines suddenly.. and i was like DONT YOU GET IT, you know, just incase i go in to labour!

He was not impressed that i put all this effort in to being nice n clean for the Midwifes when i really have not bothered shaving and stuff for him during pregnancy haha

Bless!! I had a bath every night towards the end and just barely gave myself a trim down there in time! As far as my legs and toe nails went..nada!

i am having a bath in lavendar oil every night, will start putting clary sage in it soon, and i will get round to taming the "twinkle" soon....

i can reach but not see it. so i just trim the sides and cut it very short

You do know that however nice you think you've done your twinkle..your in for a shock when your bump is gone and you can actually see down there. Mine looked like a forest! Thought I'd trimmed it quite well too...

agreed! but tbh you really dont care either! the amount of stuff that falls out of you when giving birth is quite impressive! my whole waters went during labour and that had to be cleaned up, blood, i shat myself, sweat its just not pleasant! and so a hairy muff wasn't foremost in my mind!!

I keep shaving everything just in case! I told my mum and she was like your need to do it again before he arrives! I need to paint my toe nails sometime, it's something i wanna do before i have him. I did it with lacey and the mw's were very impressed! Prob cos they were bright pink though!
With the not being able to see your twinkle, are you also finding just sitting in the bath uncomfitable? I swear he moves into my ribs as soon as my bum hits the water! lol

Haha! True! I've been through 3 labours with a hairy muff so it didn't bother me!

nah i love laying in the bath, cant sit up in it tho as it hurts. My bump never goes under the water haha
my toenails need redoing but that is SO hard to bend forward and reach! im doing that tomorrow!!

i also use my nipple cream allready just to make sure my nipps are nice smooth and soft for Noa

when i was in labour with E, i HAD to get in the bath, i just had to be clean! even tho it was a right fecking effort getting in, i had to do it!

When I had my miscarridge, in the middle of the night, I ended up getting in the bath as I was in a right mess and I had blocked the loo and called OH home to sort it and look after the kids. My mum came over to take me to A&E and I got OH to grab my cover makeup , and I lay in the bright red bath, and quickly did my makeup so my mum and A&E wouldn't see me looking rough and spotty and , I didn't care about mum seeing me naked , just happy once makeup done!! stupid really, so I understand!!

Hope your labour kicks off soon to save you some grief and getting caught hairy!

I've just cut my toe nails, going to a chiropodist next weds to get hard skin off my heels, etc. Have trimmed my twinkle a few weeks ago, so will have to do that soon too. Talking about having a bath has made me want one now!! Its quite uncomfortable tho, as the bath is quite narrow and I can't really move once I'm in it so I tend to just shower x x

i was sat in the ambulance on the way to hosp going "feck i was gona shave my legs this morning, but i didnt think it was worth it cos i didnt think she'd come today" my mw was in stitches!

Well I've just had a bath and been reminding of why I haven't been, I'm knackered, such hard work!! Shaved my legs too, will paint my toe nails and try and have a trim tomoro
