Ok so we have roast lamb roast potatoes, carrots, sprouts, parsnip sausage and bacon, stuffing! Desert Xmas pudding!
We have lamb cos i have a poultry allergy

Turkey, roast ham, sausages wrapped in bacon (drools), roast pots (and for some odd reason they also do mashed spuds here too), sprouts (drools again), roast parsnips, carrots, stuffing, cranberry sauce and my ultimate fave bread sauce (drools tonnes more). Pudding is trifle and/or chocolate roulade. Normally I have some toast with pate but obviously can't this year :brat:

Thanks m, I'm actually ravenous now  lol x

Jayne are you maddd the mashed potatoes are the best bit about dinner lol

My family have the works, I have chicken, mash, cocktail sausages, stuffing and roasties.. This is my most adventurous dinner of the year

I'd love to take you out for vegetables Jen

Never lol would love to be able to eat it all but something happens between fork and mouth that makes me want to gag

Last year we did ourselves a 3 course dinner! We had prawn cocktail to start then roast duck with roast potatoes, roasted veg with black pepper and garlic, mashed swede with plenty of butter, yorkshires, cranberry sauce (love it!) and parsnips, followed by trifle, vino or coffee and plenty of chocolate. Nom nom nom!

This year I want to do a traditional christmas dinner, the only reason we had duck last year was because it was a last minute plan and we ended up just whacking together what we had!

I definitely want to plan it better this year. ;)

x

Chicken/roast beef, roast potaotes, sweet roast potaoes, sausgage in bacon, mixed vegtables, yorkshire pudding, stuffing, gravy. Yummmmmmmmmm I'm so excited  My fella is cooking this year, but prob wont be able to eat it this year if I go on my due date, early or at max 2 weeks later. I'll be too busy cudding my wonderful boy x

We have different meats each year so last year we had turkey and ham but Duck is quite popular to then we have the usual roasties, sprouts, carrots, green beans, sweet potatoe, pigs in blankets, yorkshire puddings maybe brocili will be put on the table to!
For afters we have tradional christmas pud then a nice cake and ice cream or cream.

We do this all again on boxing day but usually have beef and then again on new years day with lamb!

With every roast i have mint sauce and yorkshire pudds :oooo:

I'm making xmas dinner for 6 of us this year (Im doing the hosting instead of my parents! :yay: ) and I think we'll have a soup for starter, maybe apple, parsnip and potato. Then we'll have turkey, stuffing, peas, carrots, pigs in blankets, cocktail sausages, honey roasted parsnip, stuffing balls, sprouts, roast potatos, home made gravy and home made yorkshires. Think thats everything!

Then Im making a sponge cake all christmassy with decorations etc but also a christmas pudding with custard. Then of course the cheese board with crackers and then coffee and homemade mince pies for anyone who dares to eat more!

Its going to be epic.
