Worrying Afternoon

Today I have been so stressed.... got up and just didnt feel well at all sort of out of sorts feeling, after lunch felt really sick and actually threw up (which is unusual), then we went into town to buy school uniform all the time I felt like my back was breaking and very heavy down below. I went to the toilet and when I looked I had some blood on my knickers, three very small dots! I nearly died there and then but finally got home, by this stage I felt so ill and went and lay down straight away. When I was lying down the baby was so active and I could actually see its wee kicks coming through my belly and it kept turning which was actually sore. I rang the Fetal Assessment unit at hospital and the lady was lovely she asked lots of questions. She just said that I was to lie down for awhile and keep an eye on things down below and to call her back in a few hours, she said some woman experience some bleeding around the time they should be having there period (mine would be at this time) and as long as the dots were no bigger than a 10p. I did just rest and then had a bath now I actually feel good. Strange and worrying little day xx

It's really scary to see blood. I had a bleed at 18 weeks and I was terrified. All ok though. Try to rest up a bit over the next few days. Glad you are feeling better.

Glad your feeling much better today, bet that really was a worry , but at least baby was giving you some good old kicks to reassure you all ok in there at the time.

How many weeks are you, your ticker only has days left are you 6 months?

Hi yes I am 25 weeks at the minute so getting there ! Had a great wee day out but what a walk my feet are aching tonight!! Yes it was a bit worrying just going to see my own GP in the morning just to get checked out, couldnt get an appointmet today! But the ba is still lively as ever! xox
