Since sunday baby has gone very quiet, he still kicks and moves but not often and not as strong as before.
I asked my midwife yesterday about it, she wanted to take me over bridgend at 7 last night but i couldnt go because of no care for my lil girl. I was told to go over my local today if im still worried but again i have no care for amber. My OH said to go over 2moz as he will be off work, but i can't stop thinking bout it.
Anyway just wanted to know of any of your experiences of this.

If you are really worried hun can you not take Amber too? I know how stressful it is having a LO running around whilst you are at hossie but not as stressful as worrying about bubs. Take a bag with colouring stuff and a book and a couple of fave toys. I am sure everything is ok it may be bubs has his back out and is kicking in towards your insides take care

I had this. I went on the monitor and she started moving about as normal. Where does your placenta lie if its anterior you wont feel every movement. I was amazed how little movement i felt in comparison to the amount the monitor picked up on. Baby has probably just spun round and is kicking into your back. A cold drink or sugary tea may get him to wriggle a bit. Hope everything is ok!

Aww hun.. I think Mik could be right.. maybe baby is facing inwards. I get it some days. I dont feel her moving much, I feel little wriggles but not as much as I usually do.. and then a few days later.. usually after I've been walking alot or been really busy etc.. baby makes an appearance again and my belly starts popping out.

At this stage, baby is almost ready to get himself into the head-down position.. and baby has less room to move about.. it could be that baby has been quite happy in head-down, facing your back position for a while and you haven't felt much movement because of it.

I would go with your gut instincts though, and get yourself checked out. Try taking a nice warm bath and having a cup of tea. Try laying on your back with some pillows under your bum (elevating your pelvis) to get the baby moving a little. Maybe even try to fizzy-drink trick. Tea/hot chocolate and fizzy drinks always work for me!

Good luck hun, and if you do go to hossie tomorrow then pls let us all now of any news.

great thanx girls, i thought baby may have moved, but its always unerving when things are not exactly as u think. He has moved a bit more today shakin my belly like a bowl full of jelly lol. Thanx so much for the advice

Hey there jemz try not to worry too much somedays grace hardly moves about at all and other's she's going crazy although she tends to wriggle about more so at night time. If im worried i always hear her on the doppler. :) The further along im getting though she doesnt seem to move about as much and now that i believe she is head down and that much more bigger her movements seem to have slowed down a little. Thinking of you hun.

I drive myself insane worrying about this too but Im sure everything is fine.

My Lo's movements seem to have slowed over the past weeks and he barely moves some days, it really freaks me out.
He is always more of a night time mover but I got so worried that I got put on a trace to monitor movements at my last mw app but everything was fine. So I have come to the conclusion that he is just lazy ( just like his father  )

I still worry and get paranoid that there is something terribly wrong with him,Im forever drinking cold water and laying down or trying to provoke movement to put my mind at rest.

Try not to worry too much, all is probably fine. Probably just a lazy kicker like mine.
But always best to check with mw if you get too worried, if only for some peace of mind
