Thanks ladies It's so nice to have your support! I've told two friends that we're ttc and they think clomid is not a good idea because it sounds "scary" - so nice to have you guys here.

i totally get that hun.its not quite the same but, due to having ulcerative colitis (bowel disease) i'm having to take medication throughout pregnancy that has some risks of premature birth. without the meds though, i would never get preggers in the first place and coming off them now will lead me back to hospital and its unlikely the baby will survive.

iv not mentioned it before on here because i feel guilty about it, a few ppl who know have said 'i dont think you should do that' so what do you think i should do, never have children!!??

my doctors tell me its safer to take the meds than not, u are given clomid by fertility experts otherwise it might not happen for you! dont worry about other people hunny, we are all here to support you xxxxxxxx

Positivity, you have nothing to feel guilty about you numpty

Unecessary risks are the guilt-factor, not necessary ones like what you are going through.

You have every right to have children regardless of health issues as long as they won't effect the quality of life of the child

Thanks positivity! And I don't think you have nothing to feel guilty about! We're dealing with doctors and fertility experts and they do what's best for us! Today my package of vitamins, minerals and pygnogenol arrived so I'm super positive now
