When to test after HCG shot with IUI

Hi ladies,

I hope everyone's well and having a positive month 😊

Just a quickie really, I am taking my HCG shot tonight and having IUI on Sunday morning.....does anyone know when I can realistically start testing (if I get that far!). The clinic say I have to wait 17days but there is just no way I'm going to be that patient!! 😳

Does anyone have any experience with this? I've scoured the internet but can't find any two answers the same! 😕

I think some ladies have said by 10 days it's out of your system? I would go with 14 days to be on the safe side.

Thank u! 😊 It's going to drive me insane waiting but better than a false positive I guess! 😊

Snowbee suggested testing till it goes and then retest to see if HCG goes back up, might give that a go 😊

I was just going to say the same thing. I would get a bunch of cheap tests and test until negative then maybe confirm the negative with a FRER and that way I'd not be left wondering if a positive result after that was a real BFP or not.
