Any ideas? When to test?

Hi Im a newbie as well and my question is.... (I have one child already and had a m/c 5 yrs ago)

Day 1 of my period was 17 June.
LH surge (by test strip) 26 & 27 July.

My periods are irregular ranging anywhere between 21 and 60 days. I am having preg symptoms, dizzy, nausea, fatigue etc etc I really do feel preg most of time. Yesterday the OPK tested positive again (I know its not an hcg test but....) but the HCG tested negative this morning.

Ahhhh its driving me bonkers I am addicted to the tests and cant stop doing them. When would be reasonable to start testing for pregnancy? Please help its driving me mad and my partner keeps laughing saying I am just obsessive. Anyway advice would be good many thanks

Hello. I would test from the first day you af is late going by your average cycle and the keep testing til it is positive or af gets u. Fingers crossed for you. - am not far from you in bristol x

I would personally test on 19th July

oh thank you, I think I am due today but not sure so I will wait til 19th. I am testing with the little cheapy strips but have one of the clear blue ones waiting behind the scenes for when I cant bear it anymore. Have dont one of the clear blue last Thursday but it was negative and not sure whether that was just too early. Anyway thank you, I just dont get why I feel so pregnant.....

I find the cheap tests better they r more sensitive I got a very dark positive at 8dpo on a cheap one and then positive cbd few days later!

The cheap tests are great! I got a BFP on one of those 3 days before a CB digi would give me a BFP

oh god I couldnt wait til the 19th I thought I would and but did the clear blue this morning and its negative am gutted still no period, about 2 days late now still feel sick light headed etc etc I guess its not happening this month hey, feel sad

I did a CB+ on Sat, first day of missed period and if was neg too. But its not over yet......your af hasn't arrived. I'm 3 days late now. Have no idea whats going on with my body. Fx you never know babe.

Seems there are a few of us in the same boat as you hun. If your last period was 17th June then four weeks from then would be the 15th July so I would wait until then to test, I know you said your cycle is irregular so it could be to early for you to get a result. Dont worry I am equally as obsssed with taking tests especially this month, good luck x

Thank you all, am thinking of not buying anymor tests ovulation and hcg as just driving myself mad thanks for support feel a bit better have been to a music group with my little boy which took my mind of things xxx

thanks so much everyone is so lovely on here I am so relieved to be able to voice here, I dont talk about it with my partner as he is a very practical person, lovely kind and calm and very balanced, definately proves opposites attract as I am so different and very very obsessive ha ha thanks to all xxx
