when to buy

I am 6 weeks anf 4 days and I have seen so many baby bargain buys, when would you start to buy things on offer?? x

I'm not letting myself go into any baby shops or near baby clothes until I'm 13 weeks, and have had scan. But the internet is sooooooooo tempting, I keep nearly buying things, but I'm trying to hold off til 13 weeks, just incase - this 1st trimester just seems so high risk!!

I've brought my first baby item last week which were only some scratch mitts but I'm waiting till the 20 week scan to find out what I'm having as I've already got a girl so have everything already. If Its a boy then I'll start shopping then. Only need to get Moses basket, clothes, nappies and wipes etc as I still got everything from daughter!

I know! I just saw the most adorable winnie the pooh moses basket RRP £85 for sale for £35!!!! Was SO tempted!! I'm 7+3 at the moment, due on the 3rd so only a few days ahead of you! 2nd tri feels like forever away at the moment, let alone due day!!!

I never bought anything until after my 20 week scan, we wanted to make sure everything was ok first. it was sooo hard waiting - felt like forever! Its up to you though, whenever you feel is right, there will always be offers on and you have plenty of time xxx

its so hard lucky this time around i already have most things from my son, im trying to wait til my big scan i remember with my 1st i bought something small after 12 and 20 wk scan to celebrate but didnt buy the big things ie pram and cot til near the end xxx

I didn't buy anything, didn't even look, until after my scan and even now we've only bought a blanket! We're waiting for scan to find out what we're having and to be absolutely certain bubs is ok before buying anything else x though my sis has bought us a Moses basket and cot! x x Think I'm cautious because I had missed miscarriage at 12 week scan 2 and half years ago, I'd bought some stuff and I had to throw everything out as I couldn't cope with it being in house! x x

I started buying as soon as I founded out I was pregnant.. I know people say dont tempt fate but I have managed to get to 8 weeks perfectly fine not even with a bit of spotting I bought stuff on special offer from asda .. got 4 avent bottles , a bottle cleaner and a dummy for £10 , and I also got a Microwave steriliser from avent for £10..
Whenever you feel you want to buy i think you should buy buy buy x

I bought stuff when we were trying! hahaha naughty! I just didnt tell anyone as i know i would have got 'you're not even pregnant!!!! blah blah blah'. Had a sneaky look at pushchairs today x

im 18wks and havent bought one single thing dunno why really but having wo little childrens im always busy spending as it is and with summer on the way i have been trying to get all there summer clothes in. Like alot of you have said i also have lots of things from my little girl so all the big things i already have and we arent finding out what we are having so i dont want to buy and clothes coz know when it comes i will want blue or pink so only gunna get few bit i need for the first few days. But after my 20 wk scan think i will go and buy summit just to make it feel more real xxxxxxxxxxxxx

when i very first found was pregnant me and OH went around the baby shops for a nosey and bought a little cardigan and baby grow to celebrate. theres no harm in buying somthing little its nice to.
after the 12 week scan we just bought something every other week. n now weve almost got everything. so we are v prepared.

I wouldn't buy anything in first trimester but thats personal to me, I even hate buying maternity things until 2nd trimester
