When is one 1DPO

Evening girls!

I had very close positive opks Saturday, and then my first of two strong positive yesterday morning and afternoon, following by cramps on my left side all evening...
had the picture below at about 4.30 this afternoon which I think may still be positive... and again some more, milder, cramps on my left...

so my question is, with opk's telling me I'm going to ovulate within the next 24 hours or so of my first positive, when do u count 1DPO? Is it the day of my first negative OPK?

Sorry again if this has been answered before, just havnt been able to catch my LH surge before so now I feel full of questions!

Hi babyno2x, it's a slightly tricky one. Personally I only get one day of a strong positive and I know I ovulate that night, whenever I've temped that has been confirmed. So I count the day after a positive as 1dpo. If you get positives for 2 days I would still count day 1 as the "true" positive as the second day could be the end of the surge. So in your case I would count Monday as ovulation day and Tuesday as 1dpo. Other ladies that experience more than one day of a positive may have different advice.

Ah Syd thank you, didn't think anyone would reply and felt really silly asking lol!
That's really helpful, so I guess I shall count today as 1DPO then, it would make sense aswell I guess with the cramping Sunday night / Monday morning.
