Hi again, sorry to be a pain. I'm now on cd56! My cycle is usually between 28 & 36 day's but this month has gone out the window. Other day I had some brownish mucous which is old blood in cm, had some pinkish mucous when wiping yesterday lasted an hour or two then nothing again. Getting bfn on tests, & now unsure whats going on. Doesn't feel like af is even attempting to make an appearance. Any advice please? X

My situation could well be completely different to yours but my most recent cycle was 40 (my longest yet previously they had been 28-34) but this time it went on and on, convinced myself I could be pregannt, then between CD37-40 I had brown spotting (like old blood similar to what you describe you have been experiencing, looked similar to what I sometimes get at the very end of AF but never usually at the start) anyway, after 3 days of spotting today (CD1) finally AF has started but even today its more brown with tinges of pink/red and not as much as I usually get but I'm sure it must be AF just a differnet/stange AF.. really strange never had anything like it before I usually wake up, have a slight pain, go loo and AF starts there and then full flow.

Have you spoken to your GP about your irregular cycles? I didnt know whether its something I should seek advice on and is of concern or whether its ok and not a prblem? so would be interesting to get your opinions / advice as your cycles sound as random as mine...

Hiya hun your sitation sounds very similar to mine.....

I came off the pill last july...and the following 2 cycles were normal (33 and 34 days)....then out of the blue the next cycle was 80 days!!! like u i kept testing but nothing, af came day 80....cycles ever since have been very irregular ranging from 24 to 80 days long. this cycle is looking to be in the 50's.
Saw one gp in dec during the long cycle and she sent me away....i then saw a diff dr in march and he was amazing...sent me for bloods and scans and referred me to a fertility specialist. Hubby was also sent for semen analysis. all was normal but due to irregular cycles fertility specialist put me on clomid.

Biggest piece of advice i can gice is to keep a record of EVERYTHING as it really helps gp's and specialists...it also helps u remember it all when asked.

how long have you been ttc hun (and how old r u if u dont mind me asking)
