Any tips? This is what I worked out:

-needs to be sturdy and stable
-easy to wash
-with a table that can come off - easier to get baby in/out and can be used with the adults table
-storage basket underneath is not very useful - I doubt I will want to store any food-related stuff near the floor
-not that bothered about reclining back as it's better for the baby to sit upright while eating, and it will probably be more sturdy with a simple fixed back.

Am I missing out anything important? There are so many models, so difficult to decide!

Maybe easy to fold and store out of the way while not needed? Unless you have space available to have it open all time.
I think the most important probably is the easy to wash lol

It's not an important issue really, more of a personal choice. One that has different hight settings. I just recently bought one that has 6 different heights for the chair. I use the lowest setting for when I am sitting on the lounge/ outside feeding her and the higher ones for at the table.

I've got one of the bloom ones as you can put newborns in them so I can keep LO in the same room and she can see me when I'm in the kitchen. It's very sturdy hth x

I have one that reclines for newborns too. It's the only thing she will sit in... She hates her swing and bouncy chair lol. She sits in it at the table while we eat our meals :). Oh mine has a plastic tray liner that you can remove from the tray and fits in the dishwasher.

seat post so you don't have to faff with harness when they are ickle!!!

We started looking at high chairs the other day, I couldn't believe how much choice there was! We first of all decided on a m and p one as they fold really flat, the tray is removable and moves forward which is all we wanted. We've now seen a graco one where the seat can be removed and used as a booster seat up until 3 years so I think we'll go for that. I've been told by so many ppl that they've brought really expensive all singing and dancing highchairs which they hated when it came to using them and they've gone and brought a basic one from ikea which they love. X

We bought a cosatto noodle which I love and lo one does too. I definitely think its personal choice and the ones that can become a little chair and table are great but I don't think fold away x
