Hi all,
This is my first post in this section, I've just booked an appt with my gp to -hopefully- find out why I've never been able to conceive. It's been about 2 years now (3 years if you count ntnp) with no luck and I'm 30 years old. Lost 4 1/2 stone since last summer -hoping it'll help, but I don't want to wait any longer without knowing if there's something wrong with me or hubby.
Will see my GP next wednesday and I'm already very nervous but excited as well. What should I expect? Are they going to do a blood test or refer me to hospital for a scan? Roughly how long does it take to get the results and decide on the treatment, after the first appointment?
Also hubby is on antidepressants and has really.....really low sex drive so we don't really bd that often, 1 or maximum 2 times before ovulation (if I ovulate, ofc) and that's about it. Also they've just changed his medicine which helped his mood a lot but now he also has a problem sealing the deal (sertraline side effect). So if they just tell us to dtd every other day or something, that's impossible. Do you reckon they'd consider iui for this reason or are we on our own on that one?
