What sounds better?

Just had another idea.. James was because it is OH's middle name, his first name is Liam..

Calum Ben Liam Murphy? Too much of a mouthfull??

xxx

I think i still prefer Calum Ben Murphy - but thats just me. I like Liam, but it does seem like a mouthfull with the other names too. I like Ben because its short and sweet :-). I've been looking at syllables too for choosing names. Calum and murphy each have 2 syllables, so i think ben fits nicely inbetween.

That's just me though hun :-) xxx

Yeah I think with the Liam it's a bit much, my Mum said what about Benjamin but like you said, I like Ben cause it's short and sweet :) not so keen on Benjamin.. Have you got any ideas for names for your little one?

The first one, but to be honest middle names are never used, my daughter has shocking initials B.L.J Briony Leigh Jones and thought long and hard about using them , but no one else has everc notticed or commented other than my other two mum mates who have a Ben J and a Bethan J as their kids names and so had been through the same thought process as me, and both also went for it. Have the name you want, my daughter is 9 now and no probs so far.. At School he will just be Calum Murphy or Calum M is several in class - lovely names tho.
