What or who will your baby look like?

My friend came over at the weekend and she has a little boy who is 20 months. He was born 5 weeks premature and it amazed me then and amazes me just as much now how much he looks like his dad.

You could put him and his Dad together and know straight away they were related. He doesn't really look like his Mum.

So it got OH and I talking about our baby. I wonder what it will look like.

I'm blonde, blue eyes and fair skinned. My husband is Turkish so is dark, brown eyes, olive skin, has black hair and lots of it, he is really hairy. I have a small piggish nose and OH's nose is rather large. We just can't work it out and are a little excited thinking what our baby could look like.

OH tells me when he was born he had hair on his face - slightly worrying!!

What do you think your baby will look like?

Me and my oh.both have dark hair, so that's a must. I have curly hair though. Other than that I have no idea because I have blue tires and he has brown... I really can't wait to find out though! Imagine that first moment you ever see your baby for real! Omg

You don't have long to wait now either! I think red heads come out more blondish don't they? Then as the hair grows and gets thicker it will change. Although I'm no expert!

Both hubby and I have blonde hair, I always thought I had blue eyes but apparently theyre green lol. I am only 5ft 2 an hubby is 6ft 2 so I hope minion takes his height haha

I cant wait to meet him/her for the first time xx

Apparently our son is a mix of both of us but I can only really see his dad. He has my colouring an nose but big dark brown eyes like his dad! I'm intrigued to see if this baby lOoks similar to him

So many ladies with Blonde hair! I'm Blonde haired with Blue/Green eyes and pale but not very and OH is red haired with Hazel eyes and very pale with lots of freckles!

My Mum is Dark haired with Brown eyes and my Dad was Fair Haired with Blue/Green eyes.
I have 2 sister and a brother, one sister is Red Haired, One is blonde and my brother is Dark.

OHs Mum is Dark haired with Brown eyes and OHs Dad is Red haired with bright Blue eyes.
OH has 3 sisters and 2 brothers, two sisters are red haired, one is dark, and his two brothers are dark(but one has a red beard lol)

So it really is a case of which of our genes mix. I definitly don't think were getting a Blonde haired baby because there is no blonde in OHs family. I think either Red or Dark are good guesses.. Probably dark because its a more dominant colour but then again Red is dominant in his Dads side so will have to see! Can't wait though! Such a long time away!

ISH is there any Blonde hair in your family? If there is its possible you have a recessive gene of fair and a dominant gene of Dark which resulted in you being dark and Vincent could have got that gene from you and also a fair gene from his Daddy

I'm dark haired with green eyes and OH is very dark hair with very dark eyes (when we go turkey they all speak Turkish to him as they assume he's local lol).

My girl is a spit of me but with his big dark brown eyes although she's got his frown down to an art. If you put me and her together you know she's mine and if you put her and her dad together you can instantly tell as well. She's such a 50/50.

When she was born though she looked nothing like I thought she would! I didn't know what to expect and was just taken back by how massive her eyes were! Even my mum jumped the first time she saw her lol. It's all anyone comments on now. So if you've got a partner with big eyes, hopefully you're little ones will be blessed with them

I'm a redhead (well auburn really) and hubby is dark and he always winds me up about being ginger. When we were at 20 week scan hubby was cracking jokes and asked sonographer if she could tell if it will be ginger!! She said if I could do that I'd be worth a fortune!!

I'm naturally blonde with blue eyes and oh is fair haired but was very blond when younger and has bluey-green eyes so I'm expecting a blue eyed blonde haired baby! His daughter has blue eyes and blonde hair 2 xxxx

I was a redhead when born but I gradually changed to a dark blonde (so not sure what colour my hair actually falls in to) I have blue eyes and I'm very fair skinned.

My husband is Irish, despite being born blonde he went dark as a child and has brown eyes and also very fair skin.

From that I assume our daughter will be brown eyed, fair skinned and possibly blonde to begin with but like me and hubby will go darker.

My dad is blue eyed, blonde and fair skinned, My mom is green eyed, dark and olive skinned. My sister took after my mom and seems I took after my dad.

Hubby dad was dark, brown eyed and fair skinned, his mom dark, green eyed and fair skinned. His sister is dark, brown eyed and fair skinned.

Apparently they are more likely to look like dad to start with and change as they get older, it is said this is so they know they are the father. Dont know how true this is but I remember first time I saw my lo thinking oh no your a mini dad lol.

Everyone is expecting our LO to be a blondie as both me and OH were very fair when we were little. My SIL is also pregnant and we compared scan pics and our LO's have the exact same button nose, apparently its just like their grandad's. I can't wait to see what our LO looks like and to also see if they are like their cousin xxx

I'm a natural curly red head, dark auburn. I'm fair skinned with some freckles. I only have to think about the sun and I burn.

Hubby is just gorgeous! Dark hair, sworthy skin and piercing blue eyes. Although he was blonde when he was born until he was about 4.

I would LOVE our child to have my features and his colouring. I can imagine a dark haired, easily tanned, curly bap lol.

We're both dark haired so it would be funny to have a blond bambino
