A beautiful card with beautiful wording both already there and from my husband. Thats all i need i like my cards. And i got him of course.

He has made me a chocolate cake and I have made him a carrot cake

i pick up my eternity ring today aswell

I got a gorgeous bunch of flowers which made me laugh because we leave to take Thea to her Grans this afternoon and then fly to Baku in the morning Still at least he remembered bless him.

Nothing yet... A wee bit hurt actually. He does this every year - he said he's away to go get me something but it's just not the same.

I got him a card, a new Xbox game, and i've booked a table for 2 at the hotel where we got married..

I got nothing too We officially dont do valentines day, this is our 5th one and we've never done much really but I always get him a card, he never gets me one! Why I bother Im not sure but I keep hoping maybe he'll change!! Not much chance of that though I dont think. Still its my birthday in a couple of weeks so he'd better spoil me then instead

We scrapped the card and gift idea as we both think it's a bit daft, in fact i'd love love love flowers on any other day of the year but this one cos it's kind like he 'had' to get me them just cause it's feb 14th
So... we wrote each other a poem, I came down to it in the living room today and it's the most beautiful romantic and personal thing I have ever read and I feel like crying i'm so happy and loved up

We just tend to do cards. I know it's commercialised but it's a nice opportunity to show our appreciation for each other. We've both picked slightly humorous cards this year which are quite topical.

a lay in with my two bubba's. well thats what he says but i recon he just couldn't sleep. still it was nice not to be woken up because he couldn't sleep.

he said he was going to cook me dinner tonight, but tbh he has cooked me dinner every night since having lewis, bless him.


we decided what with everything going on not to waste time or money on valentines day. & its so close to my birthday i don't see the point.

OH hardley ever remembers but gets all moody coz I have it seems the years I decide not to bother on principal are the ones he actually does remember

But this is the first year we have both got each other something, I got a beautiful knicker and bra set from La Senza (in the right size too!!) Big box of Thorntons Choccies and a nice mug to replace the one I broke (we each have our own special ones) what was really lovely is he got the kids cards and a gift each too and everyones card had something beautiful written inside.

Oh I got him his fave choccies Absolute Vodka a bottle of lime and some comics

I got a lie in with breakfast in bed, a card, a box of chocies and a cd and little teddy,(I picked them all out in Co-op but he paid and I actually got something)

My present to my OH was a bit unconventional. He always talks about me 'just' getting up an giving him a BJ. so with me being skint i did just that, And he LOVED IT. Both exchanged cards and he got me some belgian chocolates
