what counts as cheating?

anything which takes place behind your back.

It doesn't matter if it's over Email/text/instant messages etc. It's still cheating.

My OH thinks he wasn't unfaithful to me because he 'only had cyber sex' . I beg to differ. A relationship with another woman is a relationship with another woman, full stop.

I think anything a partner did and hid from you, or knew you wouldn't like it if you found out is cheating. Emails to mates is different, but if you start hiding the little emails with kisses at the bottom and stuff, that's when the suspicion comes in.

that is interesting! I put email/ text etc, IMO if u wouldn't be comfortable doing it infront of your partner (and them comfortable seeing it!) then it's cheating.

Obviously it's subjective but for me and my OH it would be anything that was hidden. We both have close friends of the opposite sex who we see as a couple or on our own but there's no jealousy. We're quite sad as we don't spend a lot of time apart, our friends are mainlt couples so we socialise together.
Personally if I found texts to another woman I would be out of the door, we've discussed things like this and if either of us felt something was missing/wrong we'd talk about it, therefore if that respect wasn't there the trust would be broken.
I've been lied to etc before and I just wouldn't tolerate it again.

Look but can't touch rule ... Hubby can eye up girls and their bums as much as he wants- that's as far as it would go- we joke about it we have a very honest and open relashionship and don't have to hide anything from each other if he had to hide something we both know it would be because it's wrong- but I trust him 110%
