Just wondering what your all using? We have ended up with moses basket which we bought, and a cot which OH's mum got us.. my Mums friend gave us a crib she used for her baby but we really don't have the room for all 3!

Can baby use a moses basket for the first few months and then go into a cot? Or do we really need the crib too? Sorry if I sound daft, just not too sure!

xxx

We are going to use the moses basket for a while and then he will go in the cot x

Im going to do the same as what i did for my daughter. She will be in a moses basket for a couple of months then into the cot.
I never used a crib with my daughter and although she looked tiny in her cot she loved it

i have moses basket upstairs crib downstairs then when she out grows the moses basket i will just set up her cot

I'm going to use a moses basket in my room and then when he's too big for that then will go straight into his cotbed in his nursery.

Ive just bought a crib, couldnt afford a cot too, so will get that when he/she gets bigger. Says the crib will last for approz 6 months. It also came with a free mattress which was another reason I went for that.

I had a moses downstairs, which Odhrán was in for about 8 weeks, I had a crib upstairs which he was in for about 8 months, only reason he came out of his crib was because he was starting to pull himself up, I rant and rave about my crib all of the time but it was perfect, I loved it.. He went into his cot after x

We have a moses basket that will be downstairs during the day and upstairs in our room of a night, when he our grows that he's going into his cotbed in his bedroom x

Here's some pics of my crib, I would really recommend it, for my next baby I won't bother with a moses as it wasn't used much at all x

Hey, I plan to have a moses basket and then a cot... x

Yes :) It was £100 when I bought it but I have seen it from £70 now, I paid £60 for the moses and it just doesn't compare at all x

For my son I had a moses basket which we carried up and down stairs.

For this one we have a gliding crib for upstairs and will be using the carry cot on the pram down stairs xx

Weve got a swinging crib then she will go into her cot when she outgrows the crib, iv never had a crib before with my other daughters I had a moses basket then cot when they outgrew moses basket I really wanted a crib this time coz they look so lovely with the drapes on them and they last longer than a moses basket x

We have a gliding crib for upstairs. We've not bought a cot yet, we'll do that when he's big enough to go into it. For downstairs I'll be using the carrycot from my buggy with a matress.

We will be using a moses basket downstairs in the day and move it upstairs and night. When he outgrows the moses basket he will go into the cot bed in the nursery. xx
