Hi Girlies!

Bad news i'm afraid!

I'm in no doubt this morning that it is the dreaded witch!! She's reared her ugly head and has decided to take half my insides with her!! (ok that was a bit dramatic but you know what I mean!)

Anyway I'm at the doctors this afternoon as I want them to do some tests, I'll fill you all in on that later.

I'm not too upset today as I had all that on Friday so don't worry about me, anyway I'm all excited for Flopsy and Shauna- Congrats girls!

Hi Girls!

Well here's the latest, after I got AF i'm thinking to myself not another 38 day cycle, because i'm so impatient to get preggers now, so I looked up long cycles and also late ovulation(mine is usually CD25) and found this makes it difficult to get pregnant as the egg is older and also has a higher risk of miscarriage as the lining of the uterus is older too.

One of the causes is meant to be PCOS so i'm going to be tested for that but they said they wouldn't refer me to a gyno for a checkup until I'd had 3 miscarriages???!!!

I was so cross at them for not referring me I called back this morning and spoke to the health centre manager and complained, saying that if I was paying for the service ie going private I wouldn't have been happy with the outcome and went on to say really I do pay for the service I pay a lot of tax and have probably only been to the doctors about twice a year my whole life and never been in hospital so I think it's fair that they help me out.

I was pleasantly surprised when they said they would refer me to a specialist to see what's going on.

So for anyone that's getting fobbed off and not getting tested be a bit firmer.

I'm still gonna try as of course there is still a chance but I might need treatment to make things easier.

Anyway sorry for such a long post if you managed to read to the end!!! LOL

Ah hun, well done for being firm and getting it pushed through. I hope you get it all sorted sharpish. I agree, I'd keep trying anyway cos you never know eh!

WELL DONE!! I'm a huge fan of rant and complain until I get my way. 9/10 it works. I'm so glad for you that they are going to at least try to help!

Of course sods law is that as soon as you start trying to get answers you'll get pg anyway, but that's the best result ever. So go for it!!
