I was adopted , and was with a foster mum from 1 day old so I was bottlefed.

i was bottlefed. mum tried to breastfeed me but didn't manage to. she had enough milk and everything, to the point where it was dripping, but when she tried to feed me she didn't let down. she puts it down to being very stressed out as parents in law came and stayed for a month and expected to be waited on all the time. at the same time mum was adjusting to being a new mum and also preparing everything for x-mas (i was born just a month before x-mas).

I was breastfed for 3 months then I got a bad cold and I couldnt suck properly becuase I couldnt breathe, then went onto the bottle! hey and who says breastfed babies have better immunity jking!

Breastfed for 2 weeks, then bottlefed. My mum was only 16 so not sure whether that had anything to do with it . She bottlefed both my younger sisters, didn't even attempt to breastfeed them.
Part of the reason why I still breastfeed is because we were always ill when we were younger and my youngest sister (13) is always off school with one illness or another.

I was bottle fed becuase I was premature and in an incubator. My mum didn't even get the option to breastfeed, they gave her tablets to dry her milk up.

 

Both so I haven't voted. Breast for the first couple of months till I used my mum as a teether so she switched me to bottle after I kept making her bleed . She attempted again with my brother but gave up after 4 weeks as she didnt satisfy him and he used to bite her. My sister, I can't remember. I think she just bottle fed her.

I was breastfed,apparently my mum had to put mustard on her nips to wean me off!

My mum atempted to breast feed me but I wasn't gaining enough weight so she had to switch to bottle.
My younger brother was prem so was bottle fed.
She attempted to breast feed my youngest brother ( now 9) but had the same problem as with me.

I think that the problems could be down to lack of support and the fact that she is easliy stressed and uptight.

Same here!!!! but i voted bottle as thats what i mainly had, she didn't atempt with my sister

She used SMA Gold so i did too

yep same here. My mam went back to work when I was 3 months old so she put me onto bottles then.

ETA: apparently she used SMA Gold on me, but Lydia is on SMA white because she is always hungry - greedy lil' monkey lol.

I was breastfed until 8 or 9 months. I'm the most unwell person I know lol I pick up any bug going so breast obviously wasn't best for me!
