Today when walking to train station I started to get stabbing pains kind if where cervix is and low down around pubic bone. I also started to feel pressure. It went away when i stopped walking but started again when moving..

Did a google search and read somewhere it can be my body changing and making room for babys head. Anyone felt this? It is a little painful! Xx

Yip! Had it since about 13 weeks x

I've also had this for weeks now. Midwife said at my 28 week app she could feel baby's head low down in pelvis which I'm guessing is causing it. I cant walk anywhere for longer than 10-15 mins without getting loads of pain and pressure and the need to wee too! Very annoying xx

Definitely... don't worry about it, is just babe working its way along! The cervix moving or being pushed against is kind of stabby stingy, like a nerve type pain, I've come to learn. Walking helps the baby's head down too ;-)

I also get it when upright and moving around - I get loads of braxton hicks when I am active too, it is weird! Sometimes it takes my breath away, but a lot of the time it is like cramping. I get a lot of period pains too - it is really quite uncomfortable sometimes.

Its a good practice run for labour though! xx

Thanks everyone! I haven't got braxton hicks I think since no cramps at all, only this stabbing pain.. Exactly like you say YorksLass "stabby stingy, like a nerve type pain"

Last night in bed something really weird happened as well, felt a lot of pressure after going to the loo and felt like I needed a poo badly but nothing happened. Basically, I didn't need one but felt a pressure like it did! Stayed like that for ages so not sure this is related as well xx

Had a two or three days of this the week before last, definitely baby head down. Then after a good bath and two appointments in the dentist where the seat tipped baby back up a bit, felt a lot better! He's still head down. Just not right in my pelvis thankfully. He doesn't need to be that far down yet lol

Ive been having this everytime I stand or walk the past few weeks - I think its early SPD in my case.

But in the later stages baby will probably just be engaging or moving its way. Could be a touch of SPD. If it gets quite sore Id mention to MW.

I usually feel like its my pubic bone being stretched or stabbed. Its not nice.

xxxxx

Thanks! Will mention to mw if it gets worse. Still comes and goes but nothing too bad! xx
