Well after todays meeting back with the same doctor who broke us the bad news last week we are feeling hopefull and are waiting to hear about our first consultation with the private clinic. She was better today and was genuinely upset she couldnt help us through the nhs but would like us to keep her updatef on our journey. Took forms away for oh analysis and af turned up after 14 weeks so hope my levels will drop further now. Have to wait until monday for those though as we are away. So here is the start of our huge emotional journey xxx

Thanks everyone, the nhs won't help us because my levels are too high to fall into their category of helping people. Got my letter for my scan in new year to check everything else ok and look at my other levels. Go from there I guess xx

I'm really nervous right now, waiting for my doctor to call me back as my bloods were taken again in Monday, really hoping my fsh has dropped further...

Well I got the call and pathology didn't test my fsh, luckily they still have my blood sample to retest. The nhs is a joke sometimes!!!

It has gone down to 33. Still bad but better than 60.

Dee28 the nhs won't help women with much over 12 and that's bad. I was 60 and down to 33 so really bad. Also with the postcode lottery and the fact there would be a long wait even if we were accepted with the nhs we have to go private. We can't waste any valuable time, as if I have any eggs that can be saved need it done asap!!! Suppose I should feel better than I do londongirl as I have actually halved it, just still feels rubbish as was hoping it would drop right down to maybe just above normal.
