Water infection????

I went to the hospital last night as I was in agony. I had bad back ache and the tightening where coming every 3 mins. Turns out I have another water infection. So thats no5 and I only finished anti biotics on tuesday for the same thing.

Because I keep getting them I have to go and have a scan on my kidneys and I have to go see a consultand every so often. I will get my consultant appointment on monday, but the scan appointment will take a few weeks they said.

I think some people are just prone to them.. Hope the scan on your kidneys go ok

eurgh - i had a water infdection aswell, it was the most painful thing in the world honestly.
(my midwife said if i could handle that birht would be a doddle)
but yeah its not nice is it.
but its best to get it cleared up hunni..

Or lemon barley water is good for water infections and taste nice too.

Hi, I suffer with these too, i was in hosp for a week last time. they scanned my kidneys and found they were'nt draining properly, which causes lingering pain when there isn't an infection. I have to see the consultant every 4 or so weeks too.

My only advice is drink water till you feel sick and take paracetemol when you need it.
