I'm sure this has been covered, but sometimes it's easier to have the answers in front of you :)

Lewis is now 6 months old.

Can I now give him water that hasn't been pre-boiled and cooled?
(obviously I still make his milk up this way though!)

I'm just thinking he's been weaning for just over a week, his bowl and spoon we feed him wish is washed with washing up liquid and not sterilised, so surely his cup can be the same too and the water from the tap?

Any help much appreciated!

We no longer sterilise anything except bottles and I am fairly sure that they can just have tap water from 6 months.

yup! from 6 month you can give tap water. I kind of fell upon the info last week and was surprised :D

I first did this a month ago and found it really hard at first. I still sterilise her bottles! lol.. its a hard habbit to break :)
