I did plenty of pelvic floor exercises in pregnancy and have been doing them since giving birth. Admittedly I've slacked a lot from what I was doing during pregnancy but there's so much do to with a baby that you just forget. Anyway I don't often feel the need to go but I just take myself to the bathroom as I know I haven't been for a while.. But when I do feel the urge to go, I get no warning or very little and end up leaking before I get there then have to change as i'm wet.I don't like to go out as it scares me it's going to happen when I'm out. Is this just weak muscles or could it be something else too? Sometimes when I get up in the morning I get a very little trickle down my leg (i don't feel i need a wee) at first I thought it was discharge or something but now I'm thinking it's wee?!

I know my friend had something similar and also had a slight prolapse so she had physio and the problem went pretty quick.

Worth getting it checked out as it will be easier to sort now rather than later x

Well done for posting as this is a sensitive subject , I think do go to docs just to run it by them. Sometimes just a urine infection can cause issues too. I would ramp up the pelvic floor exersizes as having a baby can really weaken them, stretch things for a while. sometimes easier to do them whenyou do a regular thing, rather than forget to do them morning and evening. I try when going through a doorway, or when boiling the kettle... as these things happen very regulary in my house... You can get things in boots to help but they are expensive, electronic things to help you strengthen properly, I nearly brought one, when I was doing lots of sport and having an issue, I ended up not drinking enougth and that's not good.

When you go out, wear panty liners, ones with a tiny bit of padding, as I used to have issues as soon as out and someone made me laugh!!

It really does get better with time and hard work so hang in there youve only just had your baby XX

Thank you for replying. I've got our 6 week check next week so I'll mention to dr then. I looked at getting an electric one but can only find then online and would want to get them from a shop.
