Urgent advise please

Hello everyone, in a bit of a panic state now so anyone with any advise please let me know.

I am about to take my trigger injection ( Gonasi ) for my EC on monday but just realized the time is changing over the weekend so now im thinking the nurse did not calculate the time right for the trigger!! On my form it says to take the injection 9 pm tonight and come in for EC 9 am Monday ( 36 hours ) but with the time difference it will make it 37 hours!! Have tried to reach a nurse today but since saturday none of the fertility nurses were there so spoke to normal nurse who said to stick with 9 pm...

Not sure what to do! Im scared i wil have time to ovulate before EC 😔

I have much less knowledge that any nurse but my personal (non-medical) thoughts are:

- probably either time is still ok and you won't ovulate
- I personally would do it so that it's 36 hours from egg collection not 37

Hope the EC goes well, and whatever time you decide to do it at, don't sweat it afterwards (if you can) xx

I personally would take so 36 hours prior to EC, try and get in touch with clinic tomorrow to say what you have done. Certainly don't want to risk ovulating prior to EC xxx

I did call and they said to stick with 9 pm so i did which will make it 37 hours.. I did not want to go against what they said but maybe i should have

Hun you will be fine, and you can't worry about it now. Loads of people go 35/36/37/38 hours between injection and collection due to taking it early or being delayed with theatre. It's certainly not a magic injection that spot on 36 hours makes you ovulate, I do think they factor in a few hours surplus as they collect your eggs before you ovulate xxx

Thanks, just so typical the time changes this weekend!! Everywhere i have read it says about 35-37 hours so hopefully all good. Will get there a bit early so i can explain the situation.. Surely there are others having EC the same day that had the same issue.

I hope i did the injection right, a few drops came out but hope all good. I just want this done now!! 😊

Thanks 😊 im sure it will be. Spoke to nurse again and she had spoken to doctor who said its fine 9 pm yesterday and i am first on the list tomorrow morning so will be max 37 hours since took the injection slightly later than 9 pm.
