my DF is 6'4" and WELL in proportion, iykwim  and certain positions are a bit uncomfortable at best of times, but since i got pregnant it feels like i have less room for him in there- like "the roof is lower" anyone else??!!

I haven't dared yet or felt like it I've been so ill.

Poor Mr B hasn't had it in 8 weeks

People say that spooning, missionary etc are the best positions as they aren't as deep as some...

Good luck ;)

I found that the 'roof' was more sensitive a few weeks ago and that if my OH was really deep when he came, it hurt my cervix. However that seems to have got a lot better recently.

What I'm finding now is that my very small bump goes really hard and gets higher up my stomach after sex - it makes me feel quite quilty after sex as the baby was 'involved'. According to what I've read though, babies don't remember any sex and in fact the happy hormones produced by me actually make the baby happy.

:rotfl: OMG, I nearly spat my juice out all over my computer!!!

We haven't had sex since before I got pregnant so can't help you i'm afraid butI also heard that spooning's the best and most comfortable position when pregnant.

Am I the only one who doesn't dare?

I feel bad for hubby but, apart from feeling like utter poo for the last couple of months, I just am too worried that the sperm will dissolve my cervix or something  Plus I feel like a whale atm and VERY un-sexy

The 'specialist' woman we saw a while back told us not to have sex if we got pregnant again. But then she also told me not to strain to hard on the loo and to go back on the pill for 6 months before trying again so I take her advice with a pinch of salt if at all tbh.

I feel bad for not shagging all the time but I'm hoping second tri will see my confidence and libido return...

Not at all, my hubby was the one who put restrictions on us having sex, he doesn't want anything happening to jeopardise this pregnancy. I'm too bloomin' knackered anyway!! Plus i'm terrified he'd knock something and make me bleed, then i'd freak out.

Hon like you said in the food thread, it's more about how things make you feel than the actual science. So probably having sex would do no harm at all, but if you don't feel comfortable with it then don't feel bad! I'm sure you'll feel better after 12 weeks and plenty of people wait till then. At the end of the day we should never be having sex when we don't want to anyway, it's entirely our prerogative and they should feel lucky whenever we consent to them having a dip :rotfl: :rotfl:

'dip' :rotfl:

Thanks guys. Thought I was being mean for a moment there. He has been good as gold bless him and only brought it up once (at our friends' house for dinner though  thanks love ) but I'm hoping once the nausea and tiredness abate I will turn into some some sort of beast

We'll see

LMAO well you never know! Certainly can't see any of us going the whole nine months without to be honest, that seems a bit excessive

Ive had a healthy sex life through all my pregnancies and this one is no different,It hasnt ever made me feel uncomfortable but like frog said the bump tends to rise up and become a lot harder during and afterwards....maybe trying to escape hehehe

I take it female orgasms don't have any adverse effects? I suppose that is what I'm worried about, 'contractions' as it were :{

Nah, it's fine. Not enough to squish them or anything! And all the nice hormones have got to be a little pick me up for bubs too surely

Awesome. Well maybe when I feel a bit less gassy/fat/sick/tired/achey I may attempt it!

buddabun, female orgasms must be GOOD for the pregnancy, as it stimulates blood flow and therefore extra oxygen and nutrients to the womb! (thats my excuse, anyway! )

Nookie is ace pregnant or not. I've been a little less up for it the past 6 weeks but still ticking over at least 2 times a week. I think when I get alot bigger it'll be the time to stop.
