Is this a sign that ovulation will be happening soon? It varies from left to right, sometimes both sides at the same time.

I’m on CD24 now, thing is, I’m not sure how long my cycles are exactly as this is my first month of tracking. I’ve been doing the opk’s and have gotten a fairly dark line a few times, however it’s not a positive yet.
I didn’t start doing the opk’s until about CD19 so maybe I missed my LH surge.

I got a lot of EWCM around about CD18 and it’s gradually gotten more watery if that helps.

I’m not very clued up on this yet as like I say, it’s my first month of tracking.

Seems abit late for ovary pain due to ovulation especially if you've already had positive opks.
I used to get really bad ovulation pain, and would have got a positive opk not long before it.
Ideally you need to start tracking ov with opks around CD10 if you have no idea when you ov. Once you see its around the same time monthly you can stop doing it so often.
I personally found opks too stressful, and when I didn't use them I got pregnant.
Ewcm is also a reliable sign of tracking. Do you have Fertility app? I found ovia the best :)

I haven’t had a positive opk yet :) I’ve had a few close ones but not quite there. These close ones were over the past 24 hours.

I’ve got an app called flo, it seems quite good at tracking my cycle.

I think I’ll have to start properly from my next cycle now, I’m not ttc just yet as I’m waiting for my husband to have his VR which is all booked in for 6 weeks time. I’m just trying to figure my cycles out :)

I’ve got a feeling my cycles are quite long :/

This was my latest one. CD24 11am, it’s the darkest I’ve had this month yet.

They’re worse today and my opk looks almost positive :)

I’m CD25 now so I’m guessing I have fairly long cycles.

Yeah that's deffo positive.
Sorry I thought you said you had already had a positive opk. Twinges were probably your ovaries getting ready to release an egg :) good signs!

Thanks :)

According to my Glo app, my cycles are about 39 days long, I guess I’m into my 2ww then :)

I’m not trying to conceive this month as we’re still waiting on my husbands VR

Think I can stop testing with the opk’s for today.

Is it worth testing the day after a positive to see if the surge is over?

It's up to you really, I used to test until it went back to negative, but lots of people say just go off the first positive... I did have 5 days of positive opks once, and it was my body keeping trying to ovulate and eventually it did so if we stopped having sex on day 1 of positive wouldn't have gotten pregnant... So I'd say it's best to watch it go down :)

Thank you, think I’ll do 1 a day then until the line is faded :)

Well my opk test line was barely visible this evening so I’m guessing I’ve now probably ovulated. I had awful cramps all night (on night shift) but now they’ve eased right off.
