TTC again!

Hello everyone!

I have 3 amazing kids, ages 6, 3, and 15.5 months. My cycle finally returned a few days ago, so my husband and I are ready to TTC our next baby.

I am 35 now so technically “AMA” which is a little strange, but I’m trying not to overthink that part. I am also a little nervous about having another so soon, but who knows how long it will take to conceive, or if it will even happen, and all those unknowns. My husband is so excited.

I have been superstitious about posting here, as if if I say it out loud it will jinx it and it won’t happen. I also already get plenty of comments having 3 kids so I’m bracing myself for the fallout if we conceive a fourth!

Anyone else trying for a 3rd or 4th (or even more)? Best of luck to all of you!

I was the 3rd of 4 girls and absolutely loved it growing up. Me and my youngest sister only have 18 months between us so I think trying for a 4th sounds brilliant! (my husband wouldn’t unfortunately )

Not sure what AMA means but I am 34 and still not managed to get pregnant and I don't think it's old in this day and age now. You havent offended me but be careful as a few of us long term ttcers on here in 30s.

Alexis you’re right, I don’t mean it that way at all and thank you for the feedback. I don’t think it’s old at all, it’s just an antiquated medical term that is at once meaningless and annoying. Best of luck on your journey, I am rooting for you and all the TTC ladies on this forum.

I have a 16 month old and we’re currently TTC our second.

Welcome welcome! I am currently not preventing/waiting to try and have never before been pregnant. 4 kids sounds really amazing, I have major respect for that. Good luck! Considered starting a TTC journal?

I haven't considered that! Maybe when more time passes and we are more actively TTC I will. At the moment we are just not preventing, which is I guess how we've always approached TTC.
