Speaking to my sister in laws friend last night and she miscarried 5 times in 2 years... the doctors investigated and said her blood was too thick...take aspirin one a day and try again after a month.... she caught on the month after and now has a 16 mth old little girl called Ellie.
I had a borderline for lupus which is what you are referring to (thick/sticky blood). I have been taking 75mg of aspirin for nearly 2 months now & also had fragmin (injections) but didn't help us hold on to our pregnancy any longer than previous months
I believe I am one of these women who will only show for lupus whist pregnant (I had a pending miscarriage when they took my blood) & I think this may cause me problems further on but it is not the problem right now if you know what I mean.
We are on a break at the moment, I am continuing to take low dosed aspirin, going onto the slim fast diet & intend on pushing things at the hospital once my repeat blood test for lupus is back in.
We're going to try again after my next normal AF unless the hospital give me any good reason & help to stay on hold a little while more.
