To all who have taken clomid

Please can you tell me which cd you ovulated and which cd's you bd?

Also any symptoms you may have felt whilst ov'ing?

I am on cd 11 today (clomid cd2-6) and we have bd cd8 and cd10 so far.

The info pack that my doctor gave me told me to start bd on cd 10 and then every other day but the SMEP says you bd three nights in a row around ov?

We aren't having scans (just 21 day bloods) and I'm not temping or doing opks first month, trying to follow the doctor's plan as much as possible.

Thoughts?

Everyone is different but going off an average cycle of 28-30days it would be between 12-15? I know my ovulation symptoms are like AF symptoms quite often.

I haven't had any symptoms at all really, no twinges only hot flashes a couple of times a day. I hope they start soon, starting to get a little worried it hasn't worked

My first clomid cycle I ov'ed cd19. Just looked back in my diary and we BD'ed cd 13,15,16,18,19,20 but got bfn. Maybe we dtd too much?

My second cycle I ov'ed cd16. We dtd 15, 16 and 17 but I don't think we'd BD'ed much before cd15

Ps I got v strong ov pains - I was 99% sure I'd ov'ed from both sides on the second cycle which turned out to be the case!

Is that how you got your twins ?

I am definitely going to get a opk or start temping but oh said we should just do what the doctor says first time and if that doesn't work then start using monitors etc.

My cervix feels v high which is a sign I guess, I hope I'm just a late ovulator.

Yep, twins on cycle 2. I only had 1 follicle on cycle one so they didn't scan me on the second cycle. I swore I was ov'ing on both sides and both my dh and the gp told me there was no way I could feel it. But clearly I could! Xx

It's amazing how much we get to know our own bodies.

I have started getting a sharp pain in my right ovary and my cm is stretchy though ther isn't a lot of it, but ive been checking every day and today is the only days it's stretched.

If I am getting the pain now when will I be most fertile? We dtd last night but I guess we should do it again in the small window.

Is there a general rule of how many hours after the pains? X

I'm on my second round of Clomid
Last cycle I ovulated on cd18- bd every other day and then 3 days when I got my positive opk-
I temp aswel because with PCOS it get false positives on opk!

I'm now cd15 and abit more relaxed about BDing- last time I was like we have to do it every other day and looking on my chart it's like every 2 days/ but sperm can live a while anyway and I don't want to pressure hubby like last time.
So far I've got negative tests but noticed lots of ewcm yesterday! I normally ovulate the day I then don't see anymore! Got my positive opk on cd 16 and 17 last time so fingers crossed it should be soon.

I had a mid cycle scan last cycle on cd14 and had two follicles- one 16.5mm an the other 15mm so she said I should get a positive in 2/3 days time which I did! This cycle were not getting scanned and I so wanted to know what's going on inside lol!

My main thing was I got ewcm the day I ov-ed on the 2nd round and it was CD 15. Good luck!! xx
