It has happened a few times in the last few decades in America, including one truly horrific case of a 16yr old girl being kept captive through the last trimester of her pregnancy (after approaching the killer because she was scared to tell her parents of her pregnancy) and then being killed.

It's being seen as 'acceptable' to watch people having bits cut off or sewn together for someone elses gratification!

yeah i dont get on with modern horror films at all. I dont understand why they exist in all honesty.

turns out 'the human centipede' film was made as a 'shout out' to a german doctor who did really weird shit in Auchwitz on identical twins (like took one of their arms off each and sewed them together and stuff and also used to vivisect pregnant women.

why would you want to glorify a person like that?

I think the Human Centipede films should not have been allowed to have been released. I saw the trailer for the previously banned number 2 and thought it was wrong!

As much as films have ratings kids do get there hands on them!

Don't get me wrong I LOVE horror films, and make my scairdy cat OH watch them all the time, but hostel, Saw and Human Centipede, are just wrong!

I just dont 'get' it... if you watch something like Stanley Kubricks 'the shinning' the music, the suspense and the characters all lead you to being scared the shite out of!

i think its a bit of a cop - out just to have someone cut open on screen! What is the point in that???

Films like SEVEN were good, they were the last of the gory but not slasher film. its just not necessary and yes it does give the wrong message to the general populus i reckon x
