 Just got back from clinic and they think she maybe breech again. Got hospital on Monday with consultant to see if she still is and then if she is I will have a date for c-section next week or the beginning of the following week. OH is working all of next week and I feel really cheesed off about it all. I know she may turn again but I really wanted to go through labour and give birth naturally.

oh hun :hugs:
fingers crossed she will turn around for you!

Thanks hun. Just feel crap this afternoon- really tired and narked with OH for taking so many shifts next week- 6 nights in a row. :-( which is going to cause extra hassle if I do need a section. He's not worked there long enough to have paternity leave and has to book hols a month in advance which you can't do when you don't know when the baby will arrive!

awww im sure they will be understanding even if its only 1 night he can get of its better then nothing?

dont loose the hope tho that she will turn hun! and perhaps push to have the section the week after?

Keeping everything crossed! Hopefully we can sort something out. Wish she'd make her mind up! Midwife told me I will need eyes in the back of my head when she starts crawling if her movements now are anything to go by!!

aww bless! no chance they will try and turn her?

Aw bless u! Hopefully she will turn back again! :) x x

I swear my lil girl keeps trying to turn around again. She turned for the scan monday morning, and ever since i can feel her sneaking sideways again, so i keep randomly getting up and pacing up and down my hallway so gravity gets a hold of her head again LOl sounds stupid, but it kinda works.. That or lie sideways in the bath, but thats just not comfy!

Are there exercises that you can do to help turn a baby? Also, isn't it possible to deliver a breech baby vaginally? I have no idea what I'm talking about really, but I would be looking into all options to avoid a c-section (but that's just me, I'm a wuss).

Hey Pam, I had an ECV on Monday but it ddn't work (see my thread if you want to know process) so have my C-Section booked in for next Wednesday 27th. :( I hope all goes well at your next appointment hun, but at least if you do have to have a C-Section you will know exactlywhen baby will arrive.

Oh no, I went online to see what natural methods there were -

(includes a breech tilt and using cold peas!) perhaps some of the other mums can recomend some tried and tested methods too like being on all fours etc to turn a baby - Mervs mum did it.

Devon is now breech , but I am already having a section , I will try to turn him tho, just to see if I can. I would ask if you can try to wait a little longer if you really want natural as I'm not booked into till gone 39 weeks, (and they are fine actually hun)

indigo - I asked my midwife that, she said yes, but Its harder to get a baby out thats already half way born, than just a straight up c-sec to begin with, and they tend to get stuck more often than born when a vaginal birth is planned, and a planned c-section is sooo much beter than an emergency one.

Or something to that effect. My brain has gone fuzzy tonight (so much so it just took me 4 attempts to right fuzzy lol)

Thanks ladies. We'll see what the consultant has to say on Monday. I'm going to chill out this weekend and try not to worry til I have to!
