the what are we having for tea thread!

i love this thread!! last night i missed it but i'm still going to make my contribution. we had sausages with a M&S cooking sauce for beef or sausages. it was thyme and ale. with mash potatoe peas and carrotts and spinach and onions - and it was yummmmy!!

tonight going to OH's mums for dinner - not sure what's on the menu!? xx

Our mince was lovely. Had to stop in to see a customer last night so OH cheated and rather than putting the mash on top of the mince, he just mashed it separately and left it on the side, so it was nearly a proper Shepherd's Pie. I stuck to vegetarian  everyone else had real meat. He did mix swede in with the mash so it was lovely. :)

And he made so much that there's an extra portion for everyone tonight, so at least that's sorted.

We were lying in bed this morning planning what we would have this week. Looks like sausage, swede and cabbage for tea tonight. Snacky stuff this weekend because we're out to Glasgow on Saturday and out to his parent's for lunch on Sunday. Then we'll do our Sunday Roast on Monday. Feels good to be organised for a change.

ScottishLassie - Thanks hun, I'm now CD57 and still no sign of AF. I've noticed a super faint line on my FR but think its an evap as my cheapies have had BFNs (even though I convince myself there's a faint line!) So going to the docs will really help relieve the frustration. I'd love to know before Xmas because we like to have a drink or 2 ... or 3 or 4(!) and I don't want to spend Xmas worrying whether I'm pregnant or not. We still have to book me in for an appointment yet so not sure when it'll be, hopefully early next week! That's great that you're relaxed more hun, I've been the same during this cycle - perhaps less relaxed now but for the most part anyway! :) All the best for testing hun, really hope this is it for you!! x x

P.S. Everyone's dinners sound amazing!!! I'm starving now and no idea what we're having as it depends on what time hubby gets home. :) x x
