i dont understand how to get them in your comments, i mean i do understand the : : bit but how do you remember all the codes?

 

When you click 'post reply' there's a smilie box next to it on the right, click on 'more' and you'll see all the smiles. Just click on which one you want to use.

Really? That's strange! I know you don't get it when you use the quick reply option but not the other. Oh I'm not sure then, perhaps one of the mods can help you out there?
