The silly questions thread...

Can I dye my hair?

XX

There's been no evidence to suggest it's dangerous but also no evidence to suggest it's safe either. In other words it's entirely up to you whether you want to use to it or not, but best avoiding it in the first trimester and do it in a well ventilated area.

Can babies fart/burp in the womb??

I wouldn't have thought so because there's no air in there to create gas, but my husband is convinced he heard our LO either fart or burp last night when he had his ear to my belly lol. X

:rotfl: Brilliant! Your posts always crack me up!

If I'm consitpated and have to strain really hard, will that harm my baby?

xx

More likely to pull your muscles than do anything to bubs. Not to mention piles!! xx

I've seen we aren't supposed to eat raw cookie dough, but is it ok to eat cookies which are baked but kind of gooey in the middle? Xxxx

Depends how they're made.

We're not supposed to eat raw dough cos of the raw eggs in it, but if the dough has been made with artificial eggs or powdered eggs (like say at Tesco or something) then it's fine.

I love cake mixture and cookie dough, so much so that I haven't baked since being pregnant for fear of not being able to resist eating it raw!! xx

I'm not too sure as I got it free with my lunch in the shop lol it was cooked in there. I gobbled it all down then thought, crap I think that was too gooey lol. I'm sure 1 won't do much harm! Xxxx

I found out about this cup that catches milk as it flows, so you can nurse and extract at the same time, forgot what it's called, I'll go look it up xx
