The Clomid Thread - 6 BFP's!

So sorry miss j :(

Massive congrats Bella what fab news.

Lou - please have a funny feeling about me next ;) x

Lol :)

I just wish I'd said something before but I didn't want to add pressure. I will consult my crystal ball ;)

MissJ, the Nhs seems to still have a lot to offer you :)

Several IUI's and a couple of IVF cycles. I assume you meet the age and weight criteria.

I know it's overwhelming but it is still extremely likely that you'll get pregnant soon... and just think of all the people who recently got pregnant after finishing on the clomid ;)

Fantastic news Bella!! I had a good feeling but didn't like to get your hopes up as it is so hard to come crashing down, especially after we all think Clomid is the magic drug. I'm so glad it was for you xx

Ooh what's the age criteria? I think my bmi is a bit on the high side - around 28-30. *gulp* x

Tapatalking!

I'm leaving you girls in the clomid thread....over to iui for me! Good luck clomid girlies xxx

You're the same BMI as me, I'm 28-29. That range is upto 29 so make sure you weigh yourself as your heaviest (in the evening after dinner for me) and make sure you are 29 at the most. They won't refer you if you are 30, they are really strict about it.

Wow Bella congratulations :)

AF arrived for me today, and im booked in for a scan next week to check womb lining as they think i may need estrogen??? Im lost!!

xxx

Oh dear. Sounds like I'll be told to lose weight first then. :( x

CONGRATULATIONS bellarina!! So so chuffed for you, and I have to say when you posted yesterday about testing I had a really good feeling, especially with your high progesterone this month!!
Like Nicky said cramping is generally normal unless you're bleeding too.
Congrats, and dip your toes into tri 1 xxx

Hi chaz

I think estrogen production is messed up by clomid. Estrogen is needed to keep the womb lininh thick and juicy for an embryo so maybe they think estrogen suppositories or tablets will help bring back what the clomid has messed up??

Just a quick check, has the title of the thread changed for anyone? I updated it earlier and it didn't change when I went back to LTTTC but when I clicked on the thread it was updated.. Yet I've gone back to LTTTC again and it says 6 bfps. Buggering thing. :wall:

x

What makes them wonder about your lining Chaz? I've never once been offered a scan whilst on clomid x

Still says 6 on mine hun x

Mine too. It's weird cos everytime I click on the first page, it changes to the updated title. I updated the thread at 8.30 this morning as well.

Will see if it changes tomorrow, if not then I'll contact a mod. x

Just checked and I can still change the title on the IVF thread xx

Hi ladies, just wanted to pop in and say hello as although I've been snooping through your posts for the last few months (in a feeble effort to stop myself going nuts) this is the first time I've actually posted.
Been TTC 18 mths now but have had anovulatory cycles since came off the pill in Jan 2011, had hycosy all clear, no pcos and all my bloods etc are fine but I just don't ov for some reason and my cycle varies from 30-40 days. On month 4 of clomid CD17 at the mo and my consultant upped it to 100mg this time so am hoping maybe its worked, although I haven't felt any ov pains (not that I would know one if it jumped up an bit me on the ass, just basing it on the pains from the hycosy dye thing!) should I defo have pains if I ov or not? I didn't test this month as my consultant told me to stop as she thinks it puts undue stress on me (us) but I think I'm maybe more stressed as I don't know either way if it worked, if you get my drift?
Does anyone else find the clomid sends you nuts? I read about all the side affects but it's the mood swings that I'm finding the worst! Admittedly I'm not sure how much is the clomid or how much is just the total soul destroyingness of trying to conceive for so long without even a positive ov test for comfort. :-(
How ironic is it that a drug that is supposed to help you conceive makes you want to crawl under a rock and cry or beat your hubby to a pulp for no apparent reason (well maybe the excessively loud snoring warrants it :) ) it hardly facilitates a romantic atmosphere for BDing and that's without your nether regions been dryer than the Sahara desert!
The preseed is a godsend but lol take the instructions with a pinch of salt and use 1/3 of what it says on the box lest you do yourself and your partner a grave injury :lol:
