I treated myself to some ferero rochers today, for those 'down' moments you get and just wish for a lovely bite of chocolate to take you away for a minute.

They're about half gone already.. not cos I've been particularly sad today, but because they are lush

i've not been avoiding them, or in fact paying attention to them at all... should i be? i didn't in pregnancy i just ate them anyway 8)

well just a quickish one from me, iv glanced over posts n see LE and Em are having sad days so to you both everyone else

havent read them properly cause i have a pounding headache n shouldnt really be online but just checked my emails so thought Id say

got food poisoning felt crap n tummy ache all day, went down home n left o at b's mum's while we went to see FA (who didnt turn up which turns out to be a good thing) as I said to b, i was so cold so got in bed with my coat on, lay there about half out n jumped up, legged it to the loo but i was too late, chucked up all over corridoor, all over bathroom floor, me and the rest in the bath all over orans bathtoys!! Ive never seen so much sick! I cleaned it up as b was as much use as a chocolate fire gard, wretching and holding his nose, he got me a glass of water then ran off screming cause I threatend to throw sick at him I felt better, maybe something funny Id eaten, then B went up to get o n we were all going to the massive yearly fire work display, then I started shivering n threw up again so I couldnt go which I was so about cause it was O's first bonfire. I was throwing up all night, till 4am (at which point I had the squits so sat on loo with head over bath throwing up at the same time lol) , luckily B wasnt at work and it was a weekend as he did all the duties, took him to bonfire, came home, fed n bedded him, dealt with him when he stired in the night n got up with him, then I brought him to mums n she had him all day bless. Im feeling better had a few dry crackers and they have stayed down so think its gone nowjust feel shit in general.

oh and forgot to say we bought a house!!! (well put an offer on ot and was accepted so subject to anything going wrong for anyreason we have a home) its a decent size, needs a bit of work doing but not massive, its a 3 bed terraced and a big basement which were going to convert in to a playroom/washroom so im very excited and want things to go through quickly!

been swimming today with jayde and she was realy good we dunked her loads and only cried once and i was let her swim on her back and she loved it then went to the bubble bit we were in about 45 mins then she had some milk and fell asleep, whats everyone else been up to as you all must of been busy as been quiwt on here today hugs to all

D was sick again last night and has a rash today but HV said he may get that at the end of virus so hopefully end is in sight. We have been to the pub for a drink i felt tipsy on a large white wine soda any

bought some fireworks for tonight and A told guy we didn't want any with big bangs D loved them till he set of a rocket then it was back indoors time so we still have some for new year,,,hopefully D will get it a bit more then.

Anyhow A is back off to Edinburgh tomorrow so will be single parent again for 2 weeks

Jen hope you feel better soon..loveing the costumes..never seen a devil with a dummy before but then never seen such a cute devil.congrats on house..can we have a link to the one you've gone for if its on the web

Chell..i avoided peanuts during pregnanct because A has asthma and it is higher risk so have continued whuile b/feeding if you weren't a risk during pregnancy then no need to avoid during B/feeding..that is the only thing i now don't eat or get pissed.

we are off swimming tomorrow so long as D stays well...with not eating D's poo's have gone back to the stinky pastty pre weaning poo so hoping he will eat a little more each day

mind made him some homecooked food for tomorrow so prolly protest

i wouldn't say he has been dunked he is given cues to let him know he is going under water and needs to hold his breath..this is to help him learn to swimwhen he goes under he is helped sto swim not just be dunked and he will gradulally learn to swim higher and higher in the water,I have seen a few people on here are doing it but don't understand the ratioale behind it and what it will achieve?

who told you to do it..i am just curious

D has been swimming today and smiled all the way through although he did decide when they did floating on backs to be the baby who stuck his kegs up in the air

Hi all, not a lot from me today, been chilling with my dude, we always go upstairs now at half five for some nappy off playing time in his nursery until six when he has his bedtime milk. This evening I got the mini football out that was given to Thomas as a present when he was born and I sat him on the floor (naked!) and I pushed the ball at him - he loved it!! He kept letting it go and it would roll back to me and he giggled and giggled!! So funny, he kept doing it!

He has also found his a sound, he spends the whole day saying a a a a a I think he is going in to a rendition of the beegees staying alive!!!!

My little man is poorly, has been for days Took hi to the docs today and so funny trying to do a wee sample for a baby. Not got there yet, mission impossible for a baby!

Hey M, sooo cute, playing with his little ball, they're growing up now...feeling all sentimental!

Sam keeps making noises and at first it was just me, but now the whole hpouse agrees with me that Sam constantly says ma ma ma ma ma ma ma especially when he cries!

I'm so chuffed and gosh does A know it

D says sumthing that sounds like mama when he cries aswell learnt to scream yesterday and yes we knew it lol but seems to have forgotten about that sound today.

he has eaten some strawberries for after tea today first thing he has picked up and eaten himself.. he just wants whats mine generally..he drinks from a glass now and always wants my drink but did drink quite a bit of expressed milk in a glas tonight so we are making progress

i bought myself new bag and boots today not often i treat myself and i bought nothing for D ever rarer

am gonna watch the final of hells kitchen

Well we have a cold Libby is worse then me poor thing, so snuffly, she was up 4 times last night full of snot, and struggling to sleep. I'm gonna get a sucky thing today I reckon try to help her breathing.
