my mum bought me a blender and some ice cube trays so i made baby food last nite! i made pear cubes, banana&pear cubes, and carrot,swede,leek&butternut-squash cubes. i bought a mango and some peaches too but ran out of ice cube trays so couldnt make them. i could go a bit mad with the blending tho if i had more trays... might go buy some lol.

a bit sad today coz an old girl friend whom i'd lost contact with said she'd come visit today and meet milliepops- but she didnt show up and didnt reply to my texts i dont kno why coz when she foned on thursday she sounded so excited and the last thing she said to me was "love u"

its very quiet today on here wat we all been up to anything intresting

weve been food shopping then done sme cleaning and then played with jayde shes been a bit wrong with her times and food today, because of the clocks wats everyone elses babies been like, got a bargain with baby rice today out of home bargains as it was only 49p for a box, im watching a highchair toy as well which is on starting bid of 1p

Hiya everyone we had a lovely day yesterday at the safari park, lots of baby animals (baby giraffes are the cutest things ever!).

I've just put a video in the pictures & sotries section - Austin went cruising along the sofa for the first time today! He's not 7 months old until tomorrow I'm so proud of him!

He's trying so hard to talk as well, he keeps saying 'adi', which we think is Daddy but could just as easily be Eddie (the cat)! No mummy's yet

Hope everyone's well, I have to go now because the computer's in Austin's room and he's going to bed.

Today I played with my favourite new gadget -

the bogie machine!

It took a bit of trying, but god.. little effort had some hooge bogies and seemed to think the bogie machine was funny. It sounds really stupid but it was so satifying the noise it made.. I felt relief for him!

Ahhh sorry, I just love that sound.

MB - Glad you had a good time at the safari park, giraffes are my absolue fave!!! Well Done Austin on the cruising!! Libby can pull herself up to standing and is so close to craeling, I'm expecting an explosion of activity to come soon from the princess....maybe Austin will be an influence in that?

JM - Hope you get your hignchair toy at a bargain price!! I bought Libby a devil all in one thing for £5.01 on Friday, its BNWT so thought that was an ok price? Will take a pic of her in it when it comes and show you all....although I haven't stumbled across the USB cable in the unpacking yet so will need to find that first.

M - What an absolte w*nker!! How dare he say something like that to you & your sis, you did right to give him piece of your mind, I think you should have been well backed up too.....tosser!! Hugs to you & your sis

L - Made me chuckle that you stil haven't remembered what it is you needed to buy (is this the same something you couldn't remember on Tues??) Get well soon hugs from us too

Cloud has had to call NHS direct as D has been for 24 hours, the last I heard she was waiting for them to call her back, but haven't heard anything since, so fingers crossed its nothing serious, and is a quick bug that he gets over ASAP

Well, i've had a bad couple of days, well actually Sat was ok, but Fri & today I have been very teary, stressed, and depressed. I'm gonna do a separate post somewhere I think as I wanna know if I am normal or not, well not me, I'm not nrmal, but my emotions are everywhere

My sister passed he driving test today so proud of her - I cried and also, I think libby finally has a tooth about to poke through, I felt her gum just before bed and there was a little sharp bit...I really hope she gets a tooth this week, or even better that it pops through properly a week tomorrow as thats C's birthday, so what an exciting birthday pressie for him

I would play guess the weight (I used our bathroom scales to weigh Libby today) but with the way this thread is posting I'd have to wait a week for enough guesses so according to our scales she is now 19lbs on the dot!!! Only 1lb before a new car seat I wonder what one to get....I can see a mooch around Babies R Us coming on

Austin said Daddy last night OH's so chuffed I can't believe how much Austin's done in the last 2 weeks, he's started crawling properly, pulling himself up, cruising & said his first word! Hopefully he'll slow down a bit now, I want him to be a baby for a little while longer

I'm off to my mum & baby group now, then we're going into town later & going to get Austin's feet measured in Clarks to get him a nice new pair of pre-walker shoes!

We've had a lovely few days. I can't remember when I last posted, but on Sunday we had lots of visitors and DD got more presents - sheesh! I think I've written 70+ thank you cards since she was born, can you believe it!?! Yesterday we went to Mother & Baby yoga and then spent the afternoon in bed, it was sooo tiring! Today we've been to Babies and Toddlers and had DD's photo taken by a professional photographer at the group - hope it turns out nice. This afternoon we've got friends coming out and more this evening (who are cooking me my tea - yay!)

Emmy - I've said it all already but lots of hugs to you. Congratulations on Libby's tooth!

mb - I will be making a post about baby led weaning soon - hope you can help me as I could do with some advice! Congratulations on Austin's first word! And at precisely 7 months too!

leckershell - you won't believe this, but I dreamt about your snot remover and you last night! I haven't accepted your 'how you know your friend' thing on F/book as I don't really want my real life friends (for want of a better expression) to see that I'm a member of this forum and come looking for my posts - I put really personal things on here and although I know I can always be found, I'd rather stay as anoymous (sp?) as possible! I'd rather say 'we met randomly' or something similar, if that's okay with you.

cloud - hope Dylan is okay - keep us updated, if you can.

I'm getting E weighed tomorrow. She was 12lb 2oz nearly two weeks ago and was 3 months old yesterday. Any guesses?!

my ma has run out now so ive had to sign on as dont have a job lookinf for a part time job jayde stayed with her granma this morning and apparently all she did was scream but that was ohs mum and i was hoping she was going to look after jayde when i get a part time job if no might look into putting her into nursery as cant afford to stay at home

Hi all

quick post while D is sleeping he has sen the doc twice but they just keep saying it is a virus and nothing they can do...He is full of cold, got sickness and diahorrea..he seemed brighter this morning but is poorly agian puking and diahorrea.

I have it aswell but mostly mine is a cold and although last night i was and had diahorrea came back in lounge and D had been sick on his chaning mat and had it all over my face os had to phone someone to come have him for an hour while i tried to settle my stomach.

i have a mountain of washing to iron for the first time D has had to go in unironed babygro's and vests as i had run out.

anyhow hope you are all ok...hopefully will get a little but more time onlnw when we are both better.

D is working away so its just mwe and D in the house of germs

Had a chilled day today out shopping with a friend & her baby. Had a real panic!! C bought me a swarovski bracelet as a wedding gift, and I wore it to town today, then realised after I'd been out for a few hours it wasn't on my wrist
Retraced our steps, went back to the car, left name & number in all the shops we'd been in & couldn't find it, in the last shop I was almost describing it to the lady at the till when leaving my name. I had to admit defeat, and we went off to change babies in the parenting room (which I could easily spend a day in as its HUGE!!! Picked Libby up out the buggy....and she was sitting on it!! And I was sure i'd checked the buggy thoroughly, I have never felt so much relief in my life, I've vowed never to wear it again

I'm gonna start a poo story thread, cos I had a cracker of an experience tonght (Cloud, you can be a regular poster )

I hope D managed in his unironed clothes, I bet he is not impressed, this is the boy who drinks water from a crytal glass after all!! Unlike Libby who doesn't understand what ironed clothes are

M - Glad you are enjoing work, hope Teej gets the crawling sorted, Libby hasn't progressed any further from getting on all fours then collapsing face first, but is seriously close to bum shuffling
